Absolutely horrible experience. The first time we used Atlantic Honda service the experience was fantastic. Constant service advisor attention, relatively quick shop time and friendly staff. Today was an absolute disaster. We showed up to a 10:00 appointment I made in advance online for an oil change, inspection and diagnosis of some suspension issues. Immediately from walking in Kris Hernandez had an attitude with us. After approving the diagnosis work and service we were left with no update or work on the car for 4 hours. Kris never left her desk in that time to check on us or anyone else. They have a text line for updates except they only respond when they want to. After 5 hours of waiting we finally knew what was going on with the car and not everything was even done. When I said to Kris that no other Honda dealership acts like this she responded with a snobby “I’m pretty sure they do” well, I’m pretty sure they don’t as I’ve used both Advantage Honda in Smithtown and Mariano Rivera Honda in Port Jeff Station and neither one ran like this. Please for your own good use either of those dealers. We are currently 5 hours into this and I’m DONE. I said cancel the repairs post diagnosis because I want to go home. 5 hours and we are back to square one
My experience was unlike one at any other dealership service center, in a bad way that is. Due to scheduling conflicts, I was not able to bring my car in a few days before the 1-year mark to do the complimentary oil change and was told by at least 3 different people that it would be okay. The day I arrived, I again asked to make sure my oil change was still free, being that it was the very first one. Then I got a call saying I needed an oil change and it was no longer free since I had passed by a few days. I explained to the service advisor about the scheduling conflicts and all the times I called and was not able to get an earlier appointment, and his response was, "I doubt it, we schedule oil changes all the time!" He basically implied I was lying. I have never had an experience like this at Lexus, Toyota, or Acura with my leases. They always did everything to accommodate me. That being said, I can't wait for my lease to be over so that I can take my business elsewhere, and I also decided to have the oil done somewhere else. The name of the service advisor is Chris. The dealership itself i recommend. Carlos is an excellent salesman, honest and trustworthy. We loved working with him.
I had an excellent experience working with Adderl Rodriguez, Sales and Leasing Consultant, and Dave Moore, General Sales Manager at Atlantic Honda in Bayshore. From the moment I walked in, they were professional, patient, and genuinely focused on helping me make an informed decision.
They spent a great deal of time answering all of my questions and explaining everything in a way that was easy for me to understand. I never felt rushed or pressured at any point in the process. Their patience, honesty, and willingness to make sure I was comfortable with every detail truly stood out.
They also worked hard to offer me an excellent deal, and I appreciated how transparent and respectful they were throughout the entire experience. Leasing a car can sometimes feel overwhelming, but they made the process smooth and customer oriented.
I highly recommend this dealership, especially working with the salesman, manager and Danielle the Finance Manager. Their customer service, professionalism, and dedication made all the difference. They even stayed WAY after closing to seal the deal and make sure everything was handled properly. Thank you again for such a positive experience! Highly recommend.
Arod did a great job showing me all the new features of my CR-V EX-L, making sure I was comfortable with everything before I left. Charles, the finance manager, carefully walked me through the financial side of the purchase, explained all of my options, and provided a lot of helpful information without any pressure. Overall, it was a great experience. I highly recommend this dealership for its outstanding customer service.
