  I've been using Monro Auto Service in Avon for over a decade. They have always provided better service than car dealerships for general maintenance and helped me keep my cars tuned and save money in the process. The store manager Steve is very honest and one of the main reasons I keep going back.

  My friend had his oil changed Brandon woodworks and this place completely screwed him over didn't fill it up enough left the oil dipstick out when called manager says it's not his problem terrible business practices wouldn't recommend

  Terrible place/service. Techs try to lie and upcharge, manager tries to justify it. Surprised they haven’t been sued yet.

  Wife came in for an oil change, with their predator mentality they tell her that she needs pads and rotors. They tell her they would gladly do it for 1500.00. Im assuming because she was female. Few days later do the brakes myself and notice an oil leak. Their "mechanics" did not re i sert the dipstick. She was almost 2 quarts low. Service manager will not take my calls. All I said when I. Called was there was an issue. 3 attempts and no luck. So I called their headquarters, woman hung up on me as soon as I told her I had an issue with one of their locations. Stay away from avon location. Sad thats how they do business in a small community. ***got in touch with the manager today after he reached out to my wife. He could have cared less about the oil loss and dipstick. His words to me was that the one thing that concerned him was the bad review and tried justifying the price of their quote. When I mentioned what would have happened if I didnt check their work, he responded that we could play what ifs all day. Told me I was unprofessional for leaving the bad review on google. Then got bothered when I told him he's supposed to be the professional. He kept repeating that we are on a recorded line and that they will have the reviews I left removed. I told him he owed us for the 2 quarts of oil, he proceeded to tell me he didnt owe me anything, Munro did. Told me to take it up with corporate. When I told them I had someone from corporate hang up on me, he told me that I needed to drive to corporate then. When I began telling him how absurd he was, he decided to hang up on me as well... once again, not bad mouthing anyone. Sharing facts of my experience with this business to save the next person the headache. Update****Just recieved a call from corporate. The woman I spoke with was very professional and seemed to be sincere. Said she listened to the recorded phone conversation, and wanted to apologize for the managers behavior and is issuing my wife a full refund. She also stated that they will be addressing what took place with the location directly. I really hope they do, and hopefully it will improve.

  Stopped in for an appointment with a vehicle purchased from Carvana. First off they claim their system was down. Asked them to pull in vehicle to check the front for a bad wheel bearing. They had two techs on it looking for any loose parts in my front end, came to me and said nothing is moving and everything looks good. Told me it was the rear… and to take it to brand dealership as they refused to work with Carvana vehicles. Took it to the dealership, guess what, it WAS the front wheel bearings. Won’t ever return here if they can’t even diagnose what’s wrong after being TOLD what it possibly is.
