Best car leasing/buying experience ever! Was helping my grand daughter get her first new car after her recent college graduation. Both Chris and Dom treated us like we were the only customers that mattered. I would recommend Northtown Toyota to anyone!

I'm sad to leave a bad review because everyone I talked to seemed very nice (especially David) but after a lot of stress turning out to be a simple, inexpensive fix, I have to. I moved to Buffalo and was hoping this could be my new shop to get my car work done at so I only had to drive 20 minutes as opposed to my usual shop which is about 50 minutes away. I have a 6 year old Toyota that I bought brand new in 2020 and like to get all services done at a certified Toyota dealership. I made an appointment because the heat shield above my muffler had fallen off and was just resting and rattling on the muffler. They got me in quickly which was appreciated as I have to drive 7 hours at the end of the month and hoped to have this taken care of. After an hour, a man came to tell me that service said the holes where the screws attach the heat shield to my car were too corroded to fix and that sometimes they can use washers but, "the holes, especially one, are too big for washers. We can order you a new heat shield but they're on backorder right now so I don't know when it will be in. The part is $400." He added that the heat sheild is necessary and I should not drive without one. After confirming the part he was referring to was in fact the heat sheild, I asked them to leave it all as is since I knew if I bought the heat shield myself, it would only be about $78 and knowing there are some pretty large washers available out there... After looking under my car at the holes in the heat sheild myself, I saw it could absolutely be reattached with washers. I called my usual certified Toyota dealership and explained to them what was wrong with my car and asked how much a new heat sheild would be. He said $112... I told him I was told by NT Toyota that the PART is $400 and he laughed. He said he would order it for me (but confirmed it was on backorder) and suggested I come in so they could see if it was possible to just reattach my current heat shield. I brought it in to my usual Toyota that same day and after an hour got a call that it was ready to be picked up. They reattached my heat shield with washers and I paid $101.12. $87 for labor, $6 for parts, the rest taxes. It's now as good as new and should last me until it's time to trade in my car. I cannot believe I was quoted at $400 for a $100 part. If they meant something else, they should have specified but I confirmed twice that they were telling me the PART was $400. $100 an hour for labor (which is all that would have taken) plus $100ish for the actual part, isn't $400 so I'm not sure where that number came from or if they were trying to take advantage of me. Unfortunately I will not be returning and will continue to drive 50 minutes away to work with people I can trust. I guess just be aware and do your own research beforehand so you know more of what pricing to expect (that goes for any mechanic). If I had not have done my own research during the hour I waited, I easily could have ended up paying $400 for something I didn't actually need.

Just picked up my new Toyota Grand Highlander from Jacob at Northtown Toyota and had a really good experience. He was easy to deal with, answered all my questions, and never made me feel pressured at any point. Since the Grand Highlander is hard to get right now, I appreciated that he kept me updated and was straightforward with everything. The whole process was smoother than I expected. If you’re looking for a Toyota, I’d definitely recommend working with Jacob at Northtown Toyota.

I recently transacted business at Northtown Toyota. I was greeted and helped by a very fine, polite, young man by the name of Jose. In real estate there is a famous slogan " location, location, location". For any business catering to the public (like an auto dealership) I think a slogan such as "impression, impression, impression" is so important. Many times the first person you interact with is critical. I went away from Northtown Toyota very impressed with your personnel. I do not know and am not in any way related to the aforementioned person. Nevertheless, I think the dealership should know this. I wish your business success. With employees like Jose you will have it! Small wonder you have been around 55+ years.
