  I had a wonderful experience at Northtown Subaru with Jerry as my sales representative. He was knowledgeable regarding everything Subaru including financing. I was shown all the "buttons" on the car and explanations of all the many amenities of my vehicle. Everyone was extremely friendly helpful, making the whole experience so much more pleasant. I love my new vehicle and I love Northtown Subaru.

  I got my first car at Northtown Subaru and had such an amazing experience! Everyone made the whole process feel easy and comfortable. A special thank you to Adam, my salesperson, who was incredibly patient, understanding, and always willing to answer all of my questions, even the random ones. He was very responsive and made sure I understood everything along the way. The finance team and everyone else I worked with were also so helpful and took the time to explain the process clearly, which meant a lot to me as a first time car buyer. Thank you so much to the entire team for making my first car buying experience such a positive one!

  I had a great experience working with Jim F. when leasing my new Subaru. He was extremely knowledgeable about the Subaru lineup and took the time to answer all of my questions without ever making me feel pressured. What I appreciated most was that Jim really listened to what I was looking for and helped me find different deals and options to bring the overall cost down. He made the entire process easy and straightforward, and he was always friendly and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend Jim to anyone looking for a Subaru. He made what can sometimes be a stressful process feel simple and enjoyable!

  I have had two experiences with Northtown Subaru, my only complaint is that I have not dealt with them more. My first time I sold a car to them and they made the experience painless and I worked with Jessie Bestine, Jessie if you read this thank you for helping me through a rough time, I still remember you and your service years later. My most recent experience was with Jim Filipski and long story short, if you're on the fence just get a car from Northtown, especially if you are dealing with Jim, he will not steer you wrong. I came in looking at a possible lease to get out of an older car. Jim took care of me, walked me through the entire process, was very communicative and I did not feel pressured or that I was being sold at all. Jim answered all my questions and then some and took me through every feature my new car, I thought I knew them all but I was wrong, Jim showed me all the "hidden" features of my Subaru and I could not be happier. I have worked with other dealerships before but they do not compare when it comes to Northtown, i will be a long term customer of Northtown for many years to come, especially if I can work with Jim or Jessie again, thank you both for your incredible customer service, because of you two I will be referring anyone I know to Northtown.

  We’ve been bringing our 2018 Subaru Impreza to Northtown since we moved to Buffalo in 2023, prior to that we hadn’t really had many issues with it as Subarus are typically very reliable and good cars. (yes, we kept up with regular maintenance) While yes we have an older (ish) car and understand that comes with more upkeep, it’s honestly been insane being serviced by this company. We had a massive issue with our electrical system in November 2025 that was well over $5k, that ultimately included them insisting on all 4 new tires and everything that comes with that. We did it and went on with our lives assuming no crazy issues for a bit. Well time came for another regular service and they were quoting us for thousands more of work they’d already done in November. We had them double check their records cause we were pretty sure a lot of that had been done and sure enough they had done a lot of it not more than 6 months before. (Tires for example) was still well over $700 for a regular check up. Shortly after that appointment (month or so) we started to hear a grinding sound on the front right and assumed it was the wheel bearing. They diagnosed it at 6pm and alerted us at 9pm it was fixed $800. Great. We pick it up this morning and then notice a crazy knocking sound in the same place. My husband takes the car back to the shop and they let us know THEY damaged our front axle when they replaced the wheel bearing last night! I was flabbergasted as I’d just driven my kids around and shutter to think would could have happened!!! They, of course, fixed the issue but my poor husband had to sit at the shop a good portion of the day waiting and missing work, not to mention the negligence on their behalf while charging us insane amounts of money every single time we drive our car into that shop. We weren’t offered a refund or anything useful for our time wasted and our safety compromised. Unless we’re in a serious situation that we can’t find another shop, we will be going elsewhere because i cannot wrap my head around this and what other issues we may have unjustifiably paid for since we’ve been going there. our major issues always seem to align with some regular services they’ve done on our car. It’s baffling and I’m wondering if other people have similar issues. Regardless, the axel damage was the last straw. So scary.
