  Adam was very knowledgeable , helpful and patient. This is my first Subaru and I feel very comfortable it. The service was fabulous everybody was very attentive and friendly. We didn't feel rushed or pushed. They also offer meetings to go through everything after you have your car for a little bit to help You get the best experience with your car. Highly recommend northtown Subaru

  I usually won't write a review unless I've had a pretty bad experience or with something I feel that people need to be aware of. I will say I'll never step in a Northtown sales building ever again after my experience at the Subaru dealership. My boyfriend and I looked at a Forester and we liked it. The salesman decided to crunch some numbers for us and see what our trade in was worth and what a possible payment would be He told us our 2018 Murano was only worth 10k with 75k on it. I was offered 13k somewhere else and 12500 at another place. We told them this and it fell on deaf ears. They told me the interest would be very high as well like 15 percent! My credit score is over a 660. It's like they weren't even trying to help us. I already was pre approved for financing at capital one for way less interest. Once again, they did not want to hear it. We also had 5k in cash ready to put down on the car but they didn't care about that either. I've had car loans from 2 West Herr dealers, and Transitowne with no issues ever. I was just so put off by this place I couldn't wait to leave. This was my first and last time here. What's even worse is we live in West Seneca and drove all the way here cause we wanted to try a new dealership out and give our business to a new place. I don't know how this place stays open. Its wrong the way people get treated especially by condescending salesmen.

  When I arrived in WNY from NC, I began to have car issues. Northtown Amherst serviced my car June 2. I explained the issues to the service advisor and that I needed my car to be in working order for my return trip to NC. Northtown had my car for two days, replaced 4 front bushings, sway bar links, and did an alignment. While driving out of dealership lot, I noticed my steering wheel was off-center. This is something the service tech should have noticed as the car was being driven out of the service bay. I contacted the service advisor who asked me to bring the car back, so the car could be realigned, which I did. On my trip back to NC, I still had car issues. I took it to a mechanic in NC who indicated the control arm bracket on the right side was not tightened at all. The thought of having driven over 700 miles, with an issue that could have potentially caused me to lose steering and lead to a catastrophic outcome is very unnerving to say the least. I am extremely disappointed with the service tech who handled my car repairs and the fact there was absolutely no oversight. I find this shameful after having spent close to $1,700 for the car repairs.

  Had a great experience purchasing my 2025 Outback! The team went above and beyond after I noticed a dent following the purchase. I'm not sure if I simply missed it when I first looked at the vehicle or if it happened in the couple of days between agreeing to buy it and picking it up. Either way, they took care of it without hesitation, and the car looks fantastic. Jason D. was my sales representative and did an outstanding job throughout the entire process. I really appreciate the excellent customer service and would definitely recommend them. Thank you!

  If you are in the market for a new Subaru, we highly recommend the dealership at Northtown Subaru in Amherst. Our experience with Jim Filipski was not only positive but very informative. He was professional, patient, and very knowledgeable! This in turn made the entire process stress-free and enjoyable. As we were undecided about which vehicle we wanted to purchase, Jim provided an opportunity for my husband and I to drive two different cars. This driving comparison allowed us to make the right decision. A vehicle that met our needs with size, comfort, and safety features. When picking up our new vehicle, Jim spent over an hour "modeling and teaching" us the many options that the Subaru offered. We so appreciated Jim's efforts to build our trust in purchasing the Subaru Forester...and most importantly we appreciated his ability to make us feel like a valued customer.
