I’ve been going to Amherst Car Care since 2023 and they are the best. I HIGHLY recommend this auto repair shop. Amherst Care Car is quick to get you in and get your car fixed. The employees are honest, hardworking, professional, prices are reasonable and they have great communication skills. Larry and Tom always take the time to explain car repairs to me in a way I can understand it and take great care of my car! I take my car here for every oil change, inspection and repair because they are very accommodating and efficient. I cannot say enough things about Amherst car care.

Extremely poor service and misleading practices. We brought my son's car here for a few things, recommended a CVT transmission flush and were charged for a drain and fill. Later, an inspection at another shop revealed the transmission was not CVT, and the fluid was actually black muck and the service was never actually performed. They charged us for a service they did not complete, giving us false confidence that could have ruined the vehicle's transmission. Unreliable shop, do not recommend. See receipt below.

Been going here for a few years. Always quick to get me in and get my car back to me. Recently heard my brakes starting to rub metal on metal on a Wednesday. Was able to get my car in that Friday morning and had it back in the afternoon with new rotars and pads all done. Only ever had good quality work for a fair price.

I got an inspection and brake work done at Amherst Car Car recently and I am very happy with them. They are across the street from my office, so I figured I'd give them a try since it's convenient. Very professional and prices were fare, and definitely a bit cheaper than the chains. I'm also amazed that they take the time to respond to customer comments online. It's a lot of work, and they even respond to unhappy customers. I know how that can be, being a small business owner myself. I know you can't please everybody, but they take the time to explain the situation and try to make it right.
