  Waited so long for my OEM replacement only for the Safelite glass technician to damage the dash of my new truck. Who’s going to repair the dash of my $110,000 truck. Not far Safelite. I wouldn’t recommend Safelite to anyone.

  I booked a mobile appointment to get my windshield fixed and Kerey pulled a no-call-no-show. When I checked the app and his location, he was more than 20 minutes away. I will be re-booking through a different Safelite location.

  Carter in the Albany, NY Location did a great job taking care of my windshield replacement. I had 2 no show ups at my job for a windshield replacement assigned to the Kingston location prior to me choosing to bring my car to a location. I could not trust I would get the service needed for someone to show up so I drove to the location instead. AlbanyNy was very nice and sympathetic. They honored the credit customer service gave me for the first no show no call from Kingston and gave me my wipers free of charge. That was very nice since it was NOT Albany's mistake. Thank you!

  Shawn and the Safelite team at 1845 Central Avenue in Albany were AWESOME. The quality of their service and level of professionalism were terrific.

  They took a while and we were waiting a bit despite having a scheduled appointment. Once it was done, the tech told us this was because of some rust they needed to clear, and made sure we knew that they'd get in trouble if we didnt aswer at least 4 or 5 star on a survey, which was never sent to us. This would be fine, but I have noticed damage to my vehicle's paint finish from what looks to have been the black polyeurethane adhesive used for the glass. Looks like a glob got onto the front passenger's A-pillar and was just wiped away after it had messed up the paint. The technician also did not save or transfer the oil-change sticker from the previous windshield. I didn't notice these at the time, as the service took longer than expected, and my wife and I had to rush home to take our dog to her vet appointment and make it to our other scheduled arrangements. I marked on here that it is too expensive as well, but that isn't the fault of the technicians. That is the fault of the poor economy, vehicle industry, and for profit insurances.
