    Do not use this Jiffy Lube. They inspected my car, claimed my tires were worn and failed it. Went to a different shop and passed easily, because the tires were fine. Also charged an insane amount of money for a simple oil change.

    The last time I went to this location it took about 3hrs, when I checked in no one could give me a timeframe, and it wasn't the best experience overall. But when I arrived this morning for an oil change and state inspection the gentleman that greeted me advised it would be about an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes and asked if that'd still be okay. I said yes because I just wanted to get it done, thinking it probably be much longer, and had a book along with a drink to be safe, but I was grabbed at 50mins and told what all was going on and went over pricing and what the car needed. Then about 15mins later the car was done, all set with no issues. I even left with a smile.

    I needed to get my car inspected after work. At around 5:20 PM I called ahead to make sure they could get me in. The conversation went like this: Me: "Hi, I know you guys close at 6:00 today. What the latest time I can bring my car in to get a state inspection?" Employee: "If you're here, you're here." Me: "So, do you mean as long as I'm there before 6:00 you can get me in?" Employee: "Yeah" Me: "OK Great! See you soon" I left immediately and arrived at exactly 5:40PM, 20 minutes before closing. I pulled up to an open garage bay (I believe there was only one other car inside) and a technician came to my window. I told him I was there for an inspection and he said they don't do inspections after 5:30 and that I would have to come back a different day. Then he went back inside before I could respond. I called the main number again and the same employee answered. I told her I was outside and what had happened. After a brief hold she came back on and said she was sorry, but inspections can take up to 30 minutes and they close at 6:00, so I would have to come back a different day before 5:30. I told her that's exactly why I had called ahead and reminded her what she told me on the phone. She said she didn't know about the 5:30 cutoff when she spoke to me. When I respectfully pushed the issue a bit further saying they should still do the inspection since she told me to come she said, "Hang on, she's comin out" and hung up the phone. Shortly after a woman, who I assume is the manager, came out. She politely explained their 5:30 policy again and said the person who answered the phone was new and didn't know about that. She explained there was absolutely no way they could inspect my car today and encouraged me to come back tomorrow. I left without further discussion. My car is almost new and likely wouldn't take 30 minutes to inspect. Even if it did, I'm surprised they would chose to risk losing a customer who has been going there for over 25 years rather than inconvenience their staff by having them potentially work a few extra minutes to cover their own mistake.

    I have been coming to Hoffman car wash for years and to get my vehicles inspected. This time I was little disappointed , when my truck was done getting inspected I was driving off when the staff came running after me to let me know they forgot to put my air filters back in the truck engine and cabin. (which I am not sure what the filters have to do with an NYS inspection ) unless they are looking for a means to generate income for the business. Your staff needs to pay little more attention when servicing vehicles . Service was fast , maybe too fast. I will continue to use your service but will pay more attention to what has been done to my truck or car when bringing it in. Thanks
