I explain my situation to Tay, who works behind the counter. She told me that they are first going to test my car battery to see if it's working property. I gave her my cell number and told her to let me know what happenes with the battery. She called me shortly afterwards and said that the battery is fine, and gave me some good advice. She saved me a great deal of trouble, which I'm very thankful for. She also helped me, by putting the key back on the ring for me.

There is a very nice, helpful woman who works there and she goes far and beyond in helping you find the right things for your car. She is upbeat and it rubs off on you. Especially if you having an hard day. I would have given 5 stars, but I am still not over this one time let me say about 3 months or so ago. I went in for a high beam light and received a regular headlight. They people working there that time, were rude and lazy! They have on window will lend tools but refused said they didn't have what I needed. Thank God there was a great couple outside changing their battery, wish the window advertise they do free battery installation. They gave them tools and sent them on their way. So those people helped me And it was freezing that day. That was horrible. How they treated us that day! So hopefully they dont work there anymore and I haven't seen them the last few times I went. So give them a chance. 👍

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
