  They were very helpful and trustworthy. They explained to me everything, I was able to understand the issue with my car especially not knowing anything about cars. Highly recommend.

  Thank you South Gate Auto Body for being reliable & having integrity! I wanted to take the time out of my very busy schedule to praise Southgate Auto Body! I was told by Chevy Collision Center that I needed to spend nearly $1000 to fix a very loud noise coming from my front tires. I decided to get a second opinion at Southgate Auto Body who found my skid plate had been bent back against my Driveline and there was creating the noise so they just repositioned the plate and my car was fixed with an oil change too for about $100. Thank you for absolutely saving me from totally destitute!

  This is without a doubt the only place I will have any repairs or maintenance any work on my vehicles. Here is why. Purchased a used truck from a local dealership. Did not have a pre-purchase inspection done before we bought. Big mistake. Within a few days I wasn’t able to get any inf about maintenance done. So day two console light came on. Dealership said take it to Dodge. We did $800 for sensor. I requested they do an inspection at that time. Over $5,000 of work needed never got inspection report. So I wanted to have a real inspection done with video, photos to establish a baseline of vehicle. That’s when I found SouthGate Auto in Reno. I called asking for 100k maintenance work. That wasn’t right for what I wanted. I spoke with Gary Jones the service advisor for all time. He listened to me and informed me what I really wanted. He made appt for the next day he squeezed me in. It took about an hour. He explained the report to me in detail. They also Listed any repairs needed by priority and the amounts for each repair to be done. The owner of the company took us to our truck still on lift and pointed out missing parts and a whole lot of rust underneath. I was so impressed with the service I received that day. I told Gary we would be back for repairs. Took my paperwork to the dealership and showed them the report. The dealership had sold as is not warranty. However they worked with us and we purchased a different truck they took back the the original as a trade. The dealership didn’t want us to feel screwed in any way. Couldn’t ask for better service . First thing I called Gary at SouthGate auto knowing my whole situation he made room for the next to inspect the new truck. The dealership sent the truck over and a hour later was happy to share the new truck report with us. It was the best service I have ever received. The friendly family feeling is instant. The knowledge of everyone working there is amazing. The guidance provided to me was invaluable! Pricing was cheap compared to anywhere else. In negotiation at the dealership regarding the report. Only because the manager is fair honest and trying to make us happy with our deal. So thank you to SouthGate Auto and all the employees especially Gary see you soon
