Good service at the pick-up lot despite a long line up of folks.

Keep your own records and beware of unauthorized charges if you have to rent here. During my recent rental, I didn't receive the paperwork from this Reno location until the morning after I picked up the vehicle. Worse, they checked me into the wrong car, one that their own receipt claimed had 4 flat tires (go figure). When I returned the car to my designated drop-off city (in California, per my reservation), I received an invoice two days later claiming the car was returned in Tampa, along with an extra $500 in bogus charges. It’s been a week and three phone calls to National's customer service, and the issue still hasn’t been sorted out.

Very efficient and friendly service. No need to wait for an agent if you're an Emerald Club member. Just go straight to the parking lot and see the attendant for a car. In-and-out within 10 minutes. Friendly attendants. Great customer service.

I travel frequently all over the country. I’ve rented from hertz and Avis. National beats them have hands down for value and service. Wherever I rent the employees are consistently friendly and actually care that I have a pleasant experience. They always ask when I check the car in “is there anything they could have done better?” No one else does that.
