Rented a car here for one overnight, after getting stuck due to a cancelled flight. We had the car for less than 9 hours and drove it a total of 15 miles. The car was fine and price was decent. During this very short drive, the wipers activated at one point and we noticed that the driver side wiper was missing. When we returned the vehicle, out of concern/courtesy for the next customer, I mentioned the missing wiper to
the Sixt employee who processed the return. She replied "that happens
frequently in the car wash. Thanks for letting us know." (We had not taken
the car through a car wash, of course.) Sixt then sent me a “Damage Report”, asking me to explain the missing wiper. They included a photo of the missing wiper from when we returned the vehicle but no photo was supplied of the wiper when we picked up the car. The wiper did not disappear during our 15-mile, 9-hour rental! They chose to blame someone who in good faith pointed out an issue that was noticed, without providing any evidence that it occurred during our very short rental. This is either a total lack of common sense, or an intentional scheme to grab extra revenue.

I've used SIXT only twice and am not sure why I don't use them more. There a great company with a terrific selection of vehicles and a friendly, supportive staff. The Vegas location was incredible and a breeze. Fast and friendly and upgraded me without asking or extra charge. Never tried to upsell me just handed me the keys and sent me on my way. To my surprise I got a Hyundai Palisades when was expecting a chevy SUV. To my surprise I had just purchased a Genesis GV80 so was basically rolling in the same SUV I had at home and knew where and what all the buttons were for. I will use them going forward in the US and definitely on my upcoming European trip. They're a great company for their fleet, their employees and the price!! Nice job SIXT and keep it up! 👍🏻😃

The process was good up until actually picking up the vehicle. I got there me and my wife both inspected it together. I did the process online through the app. Thankfully, my wife took pictures. Separately, because this would’ve been a very different story. We received the vehicle, pretty beat up condition and dirty gum attached to the BMW logo Watermarks all over the place. I was pretty surprised by the damage we saw of course, I uploaded everything into the app. My wife took pictures The backseat was not locked in to its bracket missing components in the trunk damage to the back. Due to time constraints and having to meet Family, I decided to take the vehicle thinking that the staff had notated everything and were updating the system the following morning since I did pick up the vehicle close to 10 PM. And they had it off day, cleaning it. Big mistake I should’ve Gone directly back to that booth and given their keys back. I don’t know exactly what’s going on with their system or if they don’t even care to review the pictures people submit which I took 5-10 Mins after finding the vehicle. Saddest part of the story is when I dropped off the vehicle. I spoke to the employee and told him there was no new damage. Told him exactly what I wrote here Told him about the issues I saw when I inspected it And the pictures I submitted. I guess he did not mention that to anybody because I received an email stating the damages I did. Literally the same damages and pictures I posted here and on the app. SMH I hope you guys do better on reviewing what customers submit and inspecting and cleaning your vehicles better. My advice to anybody renting here take pictures And videos separately. They will not save on your phone if you’re submitting them through their app!

Location d’une Mustang coupé plusieurs mois à l’avance (à un tarif de dingue, 500$ pour deux semaines, sans franchise !) via l'application. Pendant l’attente à l’U.S. Customs & Border j’ai pu valider le véhicule via l'application (avec un choix d’upgrade premium) en quelques clics, une fois sortie de l'aéroport un bus navette fait des A/R gratuitement en qlq minutes vers la zone des loueurs. Sur place, j’ai eu les clés en une minute chrono puisque tout était déjà fait sur mon smartphone (y compris le deposit). Ultra simple.
Clim défaillante, je suis venue l’échanger le lendemain et j’ai eu le droit à un upgrade gratuit pour la version cabriolet. Elle avait 600km, donc totalement neuve.
Voiture rendue propre avec le plein, donc aucune surprise.
Meilleur roadtrip de notre vie! 🇺🇸
