I recently traveled to Las Vegas and rented a car from National. As an Emerald Club member is was very easy to travel from the airport to the Rental Car Center and proceed directly to the Emerald Club rows of rental cars and selected the one that I desired. I chose a Honda Accord and proceeded to the exit where my license was checked and I paid the rental with a credit card, and then out to begin my travel. It was fast and easy. The only item I found that should have been done was that the front and rear windshields were significantly dirty and made driving slightly challenging. The rear glass was extremely dirty and smeared. Overall the car performed very well without any issues. Upon my return to the rental center I was met by a very pleasant attendant who checked out the car, identified the final cost, and asked if an email copy of the receipt would be acceptable. I acknowledged that would be fine and proceeded to the rental center exit. Other than the dirty windows, the rental was very good.

I had an absolutely outstanding experience with National Car Rental in Las Vegas. From start to finish, the entire rental process was incredibly easy, smooth, and welcoming. What really stood out, though, was the exceptional customer service and the way the team genuinely made me feel like a valued customer.
A very special thank you to Dee, the Lead, who went above and beyond to take care of me and was able to arrange a fantastic upgrade. Dee’s professionalism, warmth, and willingness to make my experience special truly exceeded my expectations. It’s those personal touches that turn a normal rental experience into a memorable one.
I also want to recognize Cindy at the counter, who was wonderful to deal with. She was friendly, efficient, helpful, and made the entire process effortless. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and well taken care of.
The combination of an easy rental process, an amazing upgrade, and genuinely exceptional service from Dee and Cindy made this one of the best car rental experiences I’ve had.
National Las Vegas has an incredible team, and Dee and Cindy are perfect examples of what outstanding customer service should look like. I will absolutely choose National again. Highly recommended!

We rented a car in Las Vegas - everything moreless OK, till we got the final invoice. Wrong amount for Fuel service option, they withdrawed the money from card 3-times and refund amount sent was not correct - one withdrawed sum 255 USD was missing. We are waiting more than 2 days for some answer to our e-mails. Have no idea if they will send us 255 USD back or not.
This is really not OK for customers.
Never more.

In entrambi i casi molto efficienti e cordiali. Politiche di danni all'auto molto tolleranti e soprattutto non provano a vendere disperatamente servizi aggiuntivi assicurativi non desiderati.
Auto quasi nuova molto affidabile. Davvero una buona esperienza.

I've been a National Emerald Club member for more than seven years and have rented from National countless times without a single issue. Unfortunately, my experience at the Las Vegas (LAS) location was so unprofessional that I will never rent from National, Alamo, or Enterprise at LAS again, especially since they're all operated by the same parent company.
I flew into Las Vegas with my 14-year-old daughter for a recreational basketball camp. We landed around midnight after a full day of travel. Before arriving, I had already reserved my vehicle through the National app and intended to pay with the same credit card I had successfully used to purchase my airfare, hotel, meals, and every other travel expense for the trip.
When we arrived at the Emerald Aisle, we selected a vehicle and proceeded to the exit gate. The employee assisting us immediately made the experience frustrating. Communication was difficult, and instead of explaining what he needed, he simply extended his arm out the window. Assuming he wanted my driver's license, I handed it to him. He then abruptly asked, "Where's your contract?" I explained that my reservation confirmation was available in the National app, which he reviewed before continuing to type on his computer.
Rather than processing the rental, he began asking unrelated personal questions. He noticed my phone number had a 702 area code and asked whether I had previously lived in Las Vegas. I explained that I had moved to Washington more than ten years ago. He then asked whether I preferred Washington or Las Vegas. While I answered his questions, I couldn't understand why any of this was relevant to renting a vehicle.
He eventually asked for my credit card. I presented the same card associated with my reservation, but he refused to accept it because my name is slightly misspelled on the card. Although that card has never been declined or questioned anywhere else, he would not process it. I then offered my debit card, but he informed me there would be a $200 hold. Since I didn't want a hold placed on my debit account, I provided a third credit card instead.
At this point, more than ten minutes had passed while my daughter and I sat in line after midnight, exhausted from traveling. I expressed that this process was unreasonable because I had never encountered these issues with National before. Instead of simply processing the rental, the employee then requested my flight information. While I pulled it up on my phone, I told him that this entire process made no sense and that I simply wanted to complete the transaction and leave.
Rather than finishing the rental, he called his manager, Kristie. Despite providing every document and payment method requested, Kristie informed me they would not rent the vehicle to me because I was allegedly "aggressive." I had not threatened anyone or behaved inappropriately—I was simply frustrated after being subjected to an unnecessary and confusing process.
To make matters worse, National had already charged my credit card—the same card the employee claimed he couldn't accept. After denying the rental, they instructed me to turn the vehicle around in an unsafe area, park it, and return downstairs to find another rental company. After midnight, with my teenage daughter waiting beside me, I had to start the entire rental process over at Thrifty.
This was, without question, the worst rental car experience I have ever had. The employees at the Las Vegas National location displayed poor communication, inconsistent application of company policies, and a complete lack of professionalism or customer service. As a loyal National customer for over seven years, I expected far better treatment. Instead, I was left stranded after midnight with my daughter despite having a valid reservation and multiple acceptable forms of payment. I will not be renting from National, Enterprise, or Alamo at the Las Vegas airport again.
