Well, not really sure where to start here.
My wife wrote a RAVING review about this place about 3 years ago. We stop here EVERY time we head out of town. In the past, the amount of food and selection options were amazing. I’m sad to say that the last 4 times we have gone, the food was NOT up to par, both in what I expect from this place and Maverik as a company, but also the selection and overall quality (see photos). Funny enough, form what I can remember, the last two visits there has been one specific person in the back that looks right at you when trying to ask a question or order food (also the same person that rang me up eventually and prepped and baked my pizza), and just turns around the other way. Last time, we were told they wouldn’t make us a pizza, that it was past their pizza making time. It was 5:30PM! Prime time for pizza making!!! Then today, the selection (as you can see) was horrible. Then, we decided well, we are already here. Might as well see if we can order a pizza (this was on Friday the 26th of June at around 4:45pm for mgmt to look back and see who was working). The photos say enough, but one last comment is this is the WORST pizza I have EVER had from here. They literally missed 1/3 of the entire pizza. To make it worse, we were told 10 min and it was 17. When I got the pizza I didn’t even look at it. I just wanted to get out of there as I was highly annoyed and irritated. Didn’t notice the quality until miles and miles down the road when we opened it to eat it. It was absolutely horrible and the crust (which traditionally was part of my favorite) was burned enough to be crispy and non edible. I’m giving 3 stars because I have full faith in Maverik to make this right. I will give 2 more attempts before I stop going altogether and reduce this review to 1 star. Remember, this is the start of how great companies go under. Don’t let Maverik be one as we LOVE this place (as a whole).
