  Went it to Auto Zone on 6/20/26 7:59 pm with dead battery trying to get a battery to get back home in Las Vegas. When I walked in the door there were 2 people working there.One of them said welcome to auto zone and the other one said we close in one minute I said well when I googled auto zone Boulder city I googled directions and it said closes at 9pm. The person at the counter who was trying to help me and very polite and courteous. When the other guy who who said his name was John come to find out after speaking to Nelson store manager on 6/22/26 Nelson Informed me that there was no one working there on 6/20/2026 named John. And Informed me that that had to have been Kevin manager on duty at the time. Kevin kept arguing with me saying I must have googled Orielly auto parts and O'REILLY is open till 9pm and suggested I go to Orielly down the street. I know I googled Auto Zone and got frustrated when Kevin would not stop and acted like a child trying to get the last word in. After being mistreated weather Google gave me correct info or not I left the store without a battery and luckily got me vehicle started and went to Auto Zone in Henderson on horizon. I wanted a Duralast battery or I would have went to Orielly auto parts intead but wanted a Duralast gold battery with 3 yr free replacement. Angel on Horizon in Henderson NV Auto Zone was very professional and helped me get a new battery and resolve a running light problem on my trailer also and loaned me tools to change battery. Hopefully I will not need anything from auto zone in Boulder City because I will never go there again and would not recommend going there with the unprofessional customer service I received from Kevin. The other employee there was professional and did try to help me.

  Are you kidding me? Hands down the fastest and best customer service experience I have ever had in an auto parts store. Maybe even in any store in general. I didn’t catch the guy’s name (Paris, maybe?), he was so fast. Walked in with a suspected bad battery (sulfur smell), and had the battery purchased and changed within 10 minutes. Whatever you’re paying that guy, double it.

  The store manager Nelson was the best!! he helped me with picking the correct battery for my vehicle and even helped me install it. While his store was super busy!! i appreciate the patience Nelson had assisting me today!
