The employees were absolutely friendly, kind, and accommodating not only to me but also with other guests as observed. Mr. Pat helped me select the batteries i needed for my car and recommended which battery would be best. He didn’t try to sell me anything extra. He was straight to the point. Mr. Jeff installed my batteries. He got rid of the corrosion and was very patient and knowledgeable. They were also very friendly and helpful with the other customers from what i observed and thanked the customers for being patient. Great customer service provided by these two gentleman. Im so happy i went to this shop. Highly recommend

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle.
