Overall good service despite the time. Purchased and scheduled by Amazon may be a factor. 0900a start driving out at noon, maybe a process I don't see or understand but, time is of the essence & valuable for me. Positive & welcoming attitude for entrance & exit. It could of been a little quicker, tires onsite ready and pretty busy Wednesday morning. Witnessed a couple issues with other customers but mostly due to miscommunication or tires not delivered but not Mavis's fault.

BEWARE OF THIS LOCATION, STAY AWAY ... I had a screw in my "mavis" tire. Went to this location to check it out last Saturday morning and was told they did not have time and to come at 11am next day. Not happy about that but figured they are busy ok. Showed up Sunday around 1045am. Person behind the desk was overwhelmed, answering two phones, and on cell plus working with customers at desk all at the same time. Just going thru the motions and not listening to the customers needs. My turn, John was able to see scew in my tire from behind his desk out the glass door where my car was parked and immediately said you need a new tire. He can tell from there I questioned that then he said he would need to get car up on lift to take look at the tire but would be a while, about a couple of hours. I noted I had an appointment for 11 for which he said we had other cars that came in earlier that go first. I said why was I given an appointment when I could have left my car the night before or dropped off first thing in the morning. His response, I wasn't here yesterday I don't know what the told you. I said ok left my car. At about 245pm I hadn't heard from them and called. He said car is on lift and I need a new tire. Asked about the size of screw and said it was long. Fine I'm on my way. Well buckle up for what happens next. I get there car still on lift tire off, he took me to bay to show me tire, and screw still in tire, that is right they never took it out. Said based on location of screw it is unfixable. Ok, I have hazard warranty. He said my tread was a 7, I get 70% off new tire. Great, asked if tire is in stock, he said should be it's a mavis tire then walked away. Did I mention he is also working with about three other customers at the same time. Still no response on if tire is in stock. I was looking at hazard chart and started to question him as these were fairly new tires bought in jan 2026 and asked how do they measure the tread, meanwhile running between customers, he shows me the little measure tool and walks away again, still never got answer about if the new tire in stock. He says which tire do you have . Omg really it is noted not only in your computer with my vehicle information, you could look at it on the car. Finally I said I don't trust you and he said well it will be longer to do your car as he needs service the people who trust him first. I asked to put my tire back on car and take off the lift. Did I mention that there was a woman who dropped off her car same time in morning as me for an oil change. Same situation, she came to pick up but wasn't ready. Ends up It was the car next to mine on the lift, it was interesting that John noted to the tech while they were showing me my tire, need oil change done now on that car, it ends up being her car. A ten minute oil change took all day because the person in the front doesn't know how to organize the day. It is almost 4pm now. Happy ending for me regaining faith in Mavis as a company, from there I went to another Mavis location in Oakland, not only were they courteous they took the time to explain why the tire was not fixable and advised that both front tires actually had treads of 9 each, not 7. Took my car immediately never questioned which tire I had, just did what they needed to do to replace with same tire and in about 30 mins or so I was out the door. Highly recommend Oakland location if you want the job done right and in a professional manner. You are worth it!!

I had a great experience at Mavis, and I especially want to recognize Julian, the manager. He was extremely helpful, professional, and respectful throughout my visit. He took the time to explain everything to me, answered all of my questions, and genuinely made sure I felt taken care of. It’s not every day you come across a manager who goes above and beyond for their customers. Julian provided excellent customer service and made my experience much easier and more pleasant. I truly appreciate his help and would definitely recommend this location because of the great service I received!
