    I want to thank Justin at Ray’s Benz on US Highway 22 for helping me through the service process. As a younger Benz owner, it’s easy to feel overlooked at times, but Justin made sure to follow up, guide me in the right direction, and connect me with the right people to get the help I needed. He was professional, helpful, and stayed on top of things throughout the process. I appreciate the effort and customer service — it definitely made a difference. Also, if you’re looking for someone truly dedicated to getting things done, ask for Ichiaka. A real gem in the industry — knowledgeable, dependable, and someone who clearly cares about the customer experience.

    I had an amazing experience working with Lenny Inserra at Mercedes-Benz of Ray Catena Union. My aunt has been buying cars from him for years and highly recommended him, and he absolutely lived up to the hype. This was my first Mercedes-Benz purchase, even though I grew up riding in Mercedes with my family, so it was a special milestone for me. Lenny made the entire experience enjoyable from start to finish. He was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and patient, and I never felt pressured into making a decision. He took the time to answer all of my questions and made what could have been a stressful process feel easy and seamless. I also want to give a shoutout to his manager and the rest of the team, who were all welcoming, professional, and made me feel like a valued customer throughout the entire process. The exceptional customer service I’ve always associated with Mercedes-Benz was reflected in every interaction I had at the dealership. I’m so happy with my new car and truly appreciate how smooth everyone made the experience.     Dawn D’Argenio is truly an outstanding Service Representative at Mercedes-Benz. She is always available and responds to every call and text within minutes, which makes the entire service process easy and stress-free. She takes the time to clearly explain everything going on with my vehicle and the services being performed, and she always makes sure I understand what is needed and why. Her professionalism, communication, and attention to detail are exceptional. Dawn is, without question, the best service representative I have had for any car or any brand in the last 26 years. Mercedes-Benz is very fortunate to have her.

    Absolutely unacceptable experience with Ray Catena Mercedes-Benz of Union. Due to a series of miscommunications, poor customer service, and a complete lack of proactive communication from the service department, we have been left stranded in New Jersey with our vehicle. We were in contact with Mercedes-Benz Roadside Assistance and operated under the understanding that our vehicle would be accommodated. At no point did anyone from Ray Catena Mercedes-Benz of Union clearly communicate that they were unable or unwilling to assist. Had this information been provided in a timely and professional manner, alternative arrangements could have been made and this situation could have been avoided entirely. Instead, the incompetence and lack of coordination between the dealership and Mercedes-Benz Roadside Assistance resulted in unnecessary delays, wasted time, significant inconvenience, and ultimately left us stranded. Particularly disappointing was the handling of the situation by Shawn, the Assistant Service Manager. Rather than taking ownership of the issue and working towards a solution, the communication was poor, dismissive, and lacked the level of professionalism one would expect from a Mercedes-Benz franchise. Ray Catena has built a reputation on customer service, which makes this experience even more surprising and disappointing. The conduct of the service department on this occasion fell far below the standards associated with both the Ray Catena and Mercedes-Benz brands. We will be escalating this matter to Mercedes-Benz USA and Mercedes-Benz AG for review, as customers should not be left stranded due to avoidable communication failures and a lack of accountability. Based on our experience, I would strongly advise others to exercise caution when dealing with this service department.
