Oil is the lifeblood of every standard vehicle on the road. It's crucial to regularly check your oil and schedule oil change service for your car to ensure it runs properly. Regular service also allows us to check for leaks in your engine that could shorten your vehicle's lifespan and lead to other avoidable problems.
Rotating your vehicle's tires is important for maintaining and managing treadwear on your tires, and in some cases is required in order to preserve your tires' warranty.
We can service, replace, and repair exhaust systems, catalytic converters, tailpipes, and mufflers. Ensuring these systems are working properly is key to elongating the life of your vehicle and maintaining optimal performance.
Proper wheel and tire alignment helps your car's tires last longer, increases fuel economy, and improves your vehicle's handling. Our highly-trained tire alignment experts are ready to provide you the reliable, quality service you need to get back on the road.
Your vehicle's shocks, struts, and suspension are key components to ensure your vehicle's performance and a more comfortable ride. As such, it's important to properly maintain these components on your vehicle.
Nothing ruins a day faster than a dead car battery. Many factors could lead to your car not starting — a bad battery, failed alternator, or worn-out starter are just a few examples.
Our highly-trained auto technicians and mechanics have decades of experience diagnosing, repairing, and replacing worn out car batteries. We understand how important a reliable car battery is for your car or truck to run and operate reliably. Every car battery replacement and installation we perform uses trusted brands and comes with a limited warranty on parts and service.
There's not much worse than getting in your car, turning that key and seeing that little exclamation point icon telling you that you have low tire pressure. But if you just filled up your tires yesterday and you're still seeing that warning, it may be time to replace your vehicle's TPMS sensor.

Knowledgeable, friendly, fast staff. I had 2 tires replaced and they recommended work I was aware of and didn’t add anything new. No pushy sales tactics. A place to work while you wait! Vending, comfortable seating the works!

Had a great experience at Mavis. The customer service was friendly and efficient, the waiting area was clean, and the free WiFi was a nice bonus while I waited. Ron was especially helpful—he took the time to explain what was going on with my car and what services were needed without making it confusing or overwhelming. The service was quick, and the whole process was easy from start to finish. I’d definitely come back again.

This place played in my face so bad it’s actually unbelievable. I went in Friday at 8 AM for a brake appointment because my brakes were squeaking. They tell me I need new brake pads, rotors, etc. and the total comes out to about $700. Fine. Brakes are important, whatever.
What irritated me was the complete lack of communication and respect for my time.
I specifically told the worker before they started that I had work at 11 AM and asked if the job could be done in time. He told me “of course, no less than an hour.” Cool.
9 AM comes… nothing.
10 AM comes… nothing.
I have to be the one to walk up and ask what’s going on, only to be told they were “waiting on a part” that was 30 minutes away. No one thought to update the customer who had been sitting there for TWO HOURS already?
Then at 11 AM they tell me the part is still coming but should only be another 15 minutes. An hour later, somehow the part is STILL “15 minutes away.” Every time I asked, the answer changed.
They didn’t finish my car until around 12:20 PM, making me late to work after I had already rearranged my entire shift around THEIR timeline.
BUT WAIT.
I finally get in my car ready to leave… and the brakes STILL aren’t working properly. The car was shaking/skipping while braking and the brake light was still on. So after waiting 4+ hours and spending over $700, the actual issue wasn’t even fixed.
I ended up leaving the car home and spending days Ubering because I genuinely did not have another 3–4 hours to sit in the waiting room again.
Fast forward to Tuesday morning. I come back at 8 AM, explain everything calmly to the manager, and instead of an apology the first thing out of his mouth is:
“Wow, you really caught us off guard with this.”
OFF GUARD???
I paid $700 for brakes that still weren’t functioning correctly the moment I drove off the lot.
Not one apology. Not one ounce of urgency. The entire vibe was like I was inconveniencing THEM for asking them to fix work I already paid for.
If you need quick service, honest communication, or basic customer service, I genuinely would not recommend this location. The Mavis on Route 22 in Union will absolutely waste your time and make you feel like asking for properly functioning brakes is asking for too much.
