Oil Change Services

Oil is the lifeblood of every standard vehicle on the road. It's crucial to regularly check your oil and schedule oil change service for your car to ensure it runs properly. Regular service also allows us to check for leaks in your engine that could shorten your vehicle's lifespan and lead to other avoidable problems.

Tire Rotation

Rotating your vehicle's tires is important for maintaining and managing treadwear on your tires, and in some cases is required in order to preserve your tires' warranty.

Brakes Service & Repair

Regular brake inspections help you to know when to service your brakes and can save you money by finding needed repairs before they become severe.

Mufflers & Exhaust

We can service, replace, and repair exhaust systems, catalytic converters, tailpipes, and mufflers. Ensuring these systems are working properly is key to elongating the life of your vehicle and maintaining optimal performance.

Wheel Alignment

Proper wheel and tire alignment helps your car's tires last longer, increases fuel economy, and improves your vehicle's handling. Our highly-trained tire alignment experts are ready to provide you the reliable, quality service you need to get back on the road.

Shocks, Struts & Suspension Replacement

Your vehicle's shocks, struts, and suspension are key components to ensure your vehicle's performance and a more comfortable ride. As such, it's important to properly maintain these components on your vehicle.

Car Battery Replacement and Installation

Nothing ruins a day faster than a dead car battery. Many factors could lead to your car not starting — a bad battery, failed alternator, or worn-out starter are just a few examples. Our highly-trained auto technicians and mechanics have decades of experience diagnosing, repairing, and replacing worn out car batteries. We understand how important a reliable car battery is for your car or truck to run and operate reliably. Every car battery replacement and installation we perform uses trusted brands and comes with a limited warranty on parts and service.

TPMS Sensor Replacement

There's not much worse than getting in your car, turning that key and seeing that little exclamation point icon telling you that you have low tire pressure. But if you just filled up your tires yesterday and you're still seeing that warning, it may be time to replace your vehicle's TPMS sensor.

Had a leak coming from my valve stem, called Brandon on my way home from work and his team got me in an hour before closing. I’m thankful for them because I leave in the morning for a six hour drive to upstate NY.

Have been going to Mavis for years but first time at this location. Brought my Audi for an oil change and brake replacement. They were so professional and friendly. Their prices are very reasonable and they worked swiftly to return the car. Thank you for the work and great service!

Made an appointment for an oil change for 4 pm, got there early(3:32) since I was already on my way home from work and I am able to walk home from the Toms River location. They not only confirmed via email and text message, but also called this morning to confirm my 4 pm appointment(spoke with a person not automated). When I got there, I was told they wouldn't even be starting my car for an estimated hour and a half. Yes I was there early, but not expecting for my car to be worked on until appointment time, I was dropping off and walking home, so not a problem, but my car wasn't even going to begin to be worked on for another hour. So estimated start time would be for 5pm. They close at 6pm. What was the point of making an appointment, if they take walk ins that push back the scheduled appointments anyway? Maybe they cannot handle people making online appointments, calling in, and walk ins? This is not the first time this has happened here either. I give grace knowing that emergencies happen, but maybe reach out to people before they arrive to see if they want to reschedule?

I went back to Mavis after the tires I bought in December—which had covered 18,000 miles—were deemed unusable by my mechanic. After making and keeping three separate appointments to discuss the issue, I was told the problem was my fault, there was nothing they could do, and I would have to pay for replacements. Don't waste your time and money; they don't really care once they've got your payment. Save yourself the stress and buy from another company—I will never buy tires here again 🙏

Made an appointment online 2x and when my husband showed up for the appointment and was told there was a 3 hour wait. I called and spoke with a rep from their call center who told me there a walk in so they will honor whoever comes in. If that’s the case why offer appointment times to people? Pretty silly if you ask me. When I was told I wanted to speak to a manager I was transferred to consumer affairs ( no idea why I wouldn’t just be transferred to an actual team member of the location my husband was at and/or an actual manager of the location) but I then demanded to speak to someone from the location. Finally got in touch with someone and they told me that they can’t guarantee my husband will be seen at the appointment time if they find issues with the car in front of him but they will do their best. I told them that’s unacceptable again due to their negligence and horrible online service not working and putting my husbands appointment in not just once but twice, not receiving any emails from them for my confirmation of the appointment being made only being told it’s not in their system and it was processing. All my husband went there for was a tire to be patched up, they come out and try to upsell my husband on thousands dollars of work to be done, if we wanted to be told about other issues #1 I’d take my car there regularly for oil changes and other maintenance which we never do and #2 we would’ve asked the technician to check other things. We were there for 1 thing in which it was stated on the appointment made online nothing else so why are you bringing other issues that were not even true up to us considering we got an oil change at our local mechanic prior to this happening with his tire and NONE of what Mavis staff tried to upsell my husband was mentioned. We have always spoke highly about Mavis and always NEVER ran into a problem like this. The front desk team member also tried telling my husband they’re short handed and someone just walked out and didn’t complete their 2 weeks and not for nothing that isn’t our problem, do your job don’t complain to the customers who are there already dealing with a problem they didn’t want to deal with. I mean the professionalism alone was disgusting of what transpired today with this experience. I manage a healthcare facility and would never ever give someone that type of experience that my husband had to go through. Hopefully other locations are not like that considering we have been using Mavis for situations that happen and I had great experiences at other locations but this is a lesson learned that we will not return to the Toms River location. It’s a shame, considering that’s the closest location to our house but lesson learned today!! I wouldn’t recommend this location.
