Extremely disappointing experience, and unfortunately not the first one at this location.
I scheduled a 10:00 AM Saturday appointment for four new tires and balancing and also requested an alignment. When I dropped the vehicle off, I was told it should take about three hours and that I would receive a call when it was ready.
No call came. I finally called at 4:15 PM and was told they were still working on the vehicle but would not have enough time to complete the alignment before closing. I agreed to leave it overnight with the understanding that the remaining alignment would be completed Sunday morning. I was told it should be ready around 11:00 AM and, again, that they would call me.
Again, no call. At 11:30 on Sunday, more than 25 hours after I dropped off the vehicle, I called and learned that nothing had been done because they couldn't locate the wheel lock.
That's the part I find most unacceptable. On Saturday afternoon, I was specifically told that the work was underway and that the alignment was what remained for Sunday. That was not true. The following morning, I learned that none of the work had even been started. I wasn't simply kept uninformed — I was given false information about the status of my vehicle.
This was also my second communication problem at this location in about three weeks. During my previous visit, they needed to keep another vehicle overnight, which I completely understood, but I was promised a call when it was ready and never received one. I had to call them myself.
Delays happen. Shops get busy. I can understand both. What I cannot understand is repeatedly promising customers that you'll contact them and simply not doing it. And I certainly cannot accept being told that work is underway when, in reality, nothing has been done.
After this second experience, I picked up my keys and took my business elsewhere. I won't be returning to this location.

The staff at MAVIS in Shrewsbury NJ, partically Joe, James & Chris, were so polite, so professional, so helpful and so accommodating. They did a beautiful job and were consciousness about the time I waited. They'd get 10 Stars if I could!

Fresh off of a night shift, having to go into work again 12 hours later, and starting a vacation I have to drive to the next day, I got a nail in my right rear tire. My car’s manufacturer quoted me $450. These guys got me in within 30 minutes of my call, had the tire patched in an hour flat, and charged me 10% of what I was quoted.
