Hellacious wait times, terrible service and crap availability. I dread every time I have to go there and I always consider weather its worth driving an extra 15 mins out of my way just to go to the Auto Zone down the road.

I noticed while in the store it was just as hot inside as it was outside. These guys are working in the sun and heat a lot as it is, they shouldn't have to sweat inside too. I hope Ron and the other great employees at this location can get a little relief from this post 💛

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
