  Wait 45 minutes for them to open for just a tire repair was told I needed an appt and could not get one for 2-3 days rediculus and the person at the front Tex was extremely rude three people left when he said that. I am a retired mechanic who is disabled and was treated this way. Never again

  Phenomenal team at Rio Grande Mavis Discount tires! Alex & Matt saved the day by fixing my car despite high workload and super hot day! Great WiFi and airco made the wait comfortable and got tons of work done! These guys rock! Thanks!

  Go to MR tires they know about customer service and treat their customers the way they're supposed to be treated .Mavis make an appointment and then say it's going to be a few hours put one tire on and wanted me to wait a few hours when nobody else was there waiting just me the other cars were dropped off and they were inside and probably coming back later on today and they couldn't throw one tire on my car the assistant manager does not know what he's doing it does not know how to take care of customers I would have made sure that tire I put on that car if that was me I would have took care of the customer

  Showed up at my appointment at 9am like I was supposed to have one tire installed I gave him my keys I sat down 30 minutes later the assistant manager comes up to me it says are you okay waiting and I said how long he said a few hours absolutely I cannot wait a few hours I have to go to work can you just have somebody put that one tire on and he refused and said no we can't do that mind you I was the only one waiting all the other cars were dropped off I was the only customer waiting and they would not install my tire like we're supposed to at 9:00 a.m. he was saying like around noon or 1:00 could it be done if that was me I would have installed the tire for the customer they don't know how to take care of customers horrible place

  Absolutely awful experience - My 20-year-old daughter was traveling for a short beach vacation, noticed her tire was low, found a nail in it, and went to this Mavis to get it patched — a simple, routine fix. Instead, they tried to scare her into spending hundreds of dollars she didn't need to. They claimed the tire was "dry rotted" and couldn't be repaired — despite it being only 1.5 years old — and that she also needed a second new tire because the shock on the other side was "bad." All completely false. She called her father, who told her to get the car out of there immediately. When she went to retrieve it, they had the hood open — for a TIRE issue. Why? What were they doing in there? She took it to another shop afterward, where the tire was patched for $20, and they confirmed outright that the tire was NOT dry-rotted and was perfectly fine. This is exactly the kind of predatory upselling that gives the auto repair industry a bad name — preying on a young woman traveling, assuming she wouldn't know better or wouldn't push back. Completely unacceptable. Do NOT trust this location, and if you're a woman, find somewhere else entirely.
