RYAN in Rio Grande.....ROCKS!! Enterprise needs to recongize how lucky they are to have Ryan on their staff. The customer service he provides exceeds a 5 star rating...he genuinely cares and goes above and beyond. This location deals with a high volume of clients & Ryan goes the extra mile taking the time to ensure each client has a positive customer experience. Even when it is super busy, he multi tasks and efficiently works to get customers in and out in a timely manner. Hats off to you Ryan and all your hard work, it is truly appreciated !

We reserved an XL SUV from the Rio Grande location a month before our trip. A couple of days before pick up, they called to confirm and even asked if we wanted a vehicle with "captain's chairs." When my husband went to pick it up the day before our trip, they informed him they had no XL vehicles available and sent him 40 miles north to Absecon, where they had a Jeep Wagoneer. Before leaving the lot, my husband noticed the front tire seemed a little low. Enterprise could not identify the issue, so they offered to put the full-size spare on the tire. My husband didn't feel comfortable using the spare in case we ran into another issue on the road and needed a spare. They sent him to a contracted tire shop 20 minutes away, where they replaced the old tire with a supposedly brand-new tire. Later that night, while we were packing the car for our early morning trip, the same tire, the newly replaced tire, was again appearing low, so, hoping it was just a sensor issue, he filled it up with air, and by the next morning, the tire seemed to hold up. As we began driving, however, the psi would drop every so many miles. We contacted Enterprise multiple times, and we were bounced between roadside assistance, other Enterprise locations, and additional tire shops. The problem was that there were no other Enterprises in the area we were traveling to, and when we called around to Enterprises on the way, there were no XL vehicles at any nearby locations. We were sent to a contracted tire place on our route, which unfortunately couldn't look at the tire for another hour and a half. To avoid further delaying this trip, my husband changed the tire himself to the spare. We had to empty OUT all of our luggage from the back of the truck in a parking lot to access the spare release. What a terrible way to start a trip. We're all stressed now; the kids were worried. After finally arriving at our destination and leaving the vehicle parked for several days, we thought the worst was behind us. Until we packed the truck for home and began to drive, WHEN THE OTHER FRONT TIRE WAS NOW READING LOW!!!!!!! Here we go again, stopping at a local gas station to use their air pump, but this time the problem was easily identified: when my husband removed the plastic cap, the valve stem was actively leaking!!! We were in a small town, on a Sunday, hundreds of miles from home, WITH ANOTHER TIRE ISSUE. It was like a nightmare that wouldn't end. My husband replaced the plastic cap, and we drove 22 miles to an Autozone, where they said they could fix the tire, but they'd have to deflate the tire and remove it to fix the valve stem, but it would take some time. They advised that if the plastic cap was holding, leave it alone and get home as soon as possible. We purchased stronger metal stem caps to replace the plastic caps, just in case we lost the plastic cap, since only two of the tires, one being the spare, even came with a cap! So we spent the entire ride home, worried, praying, stressed out, on plastic cap life support as my husband called it!! We got home, emptied the truck, and drove it immediately to the Rio Grande location, where we dropped the keys in the lock box since it was a Sunday. My husband spoke to the manager the next day, who apologized and said they had discovered that the rim on the first tire was cracked. They would only charge him a reduced rental rate. I am writing a review because, for the life of me, I cannot figure out HOW they could have the nerve to charge us ANYTHING!!! It was the trip from hell, from the promise of a vehicle they didn't have, to the driving to multiple locations, to the repeated tire issues and stress of a family vacation that we really never take. But what is most frustrating is that this entire situation could've put my family's safety at risk, only to have to PAY in the end? A reduced rental rate does not adequately address what happened. I will never rent from Enterprise again.

I rent cars regularly for work, and this location has been consistently reliable. Ryan is the reason I keep coming back. He’s always exceptionally helpful and makes the whole process easy. I even had a situation where I was in an accident, and he walked me through everything without any issues. That kind of support matters when things don’t go as planned. The car selection is usually on point, even last minute. If you plan ahead and request something specific, it’s typically not a problem at all. Overall, it’s a dependable spot with great customer service, and Ryan really sets the tone for the experience.
