- TMThomas MurphyJul 4, 20211.0Stay away from this location. They do Not train the employees how to install batteries the correct way. They put my new battery in and it didn’t start because it wasn’t installed the proper way. Took along time to install as well. Then they tell me my starter went on me. So I buy a new starter because they said that they were sure it was the starter that went. I get towed out of there and waited over 2 hours. Once I get back to my house to install the new starter with my friend which took another 2 hours to install. Once the new starter was in the vehicle if did Not start. Then my buddy and I check the battery out and it’s not installed properly and I was missing clips to it. All I needed was a $6 part and I would have been good and back and business. Workers still lied to me saying the starter was bad all because they didn’t install the battery the right way. I’ve always came her for small stuff and never had problems but I will never return to this location ever again.

The old adage is that you get what you pay for. This is so true. I use places like National Auto Parts and Napa Auto Parts for all of my purchases. Companies like ACDelco professional and Napa are more expensive, but well worth it because they are much better products. Do it once, do it right

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
