  Being a place we never want to end up on the drive into work, I am certainly glad I chose to come to Mr. Tire. Very friendly and extremely professional. Made a tire repair a very pleasant transaction. Got me in and out very quickly. On Friday nonetheless. Thank you to the Mr Tire staff in Piscataway, NJ. Would highly recommend this business.

  I purchases 4 tires online and picked Mr. Tire to do the install. I received a call from the center the morning of my service. I had arranged to drop my car off the night before as I have to start work at 5:30am. During the call, I was asked why I brought my vehicle in! I filled out the envelope as well as putting my keys in my own envelope explaining the reason I dropped it off. After I explained it was there for 4 tires to be installed, I was told that it would be done. I received another call a few hours later telling me that I needed front lower control arms at $1900.00! And also rear brakes and rotors. I told the manager that I couldn’t afford that work and was told that the tire replacement would be done. I then received a call stating that I needed a set of lug nuts as mines were ‘swollen’! Luckily I had the original lug nuts that came with the car at home. When I picked up my car, they showed be the lower control arms which had slight tears in the bushings. Nothing to be overly alarmed at. I was told that they were CRACKED! I did the brakes and rotors about a year ago (I don’t drive the car much) so I was skeptical on the brakes needing to be replaced. I also asked for one of my tires to be put aside as I recently replaced it. I had to ask two more times for my tire to be given to me! I immediately ordered rear pads and 4 days later, I replaced the rear pads that still had life in them. I figured since I had it apart, might as well replace them. The rear drivers side caliper pins were a little stiff so I think one side of the pad wore down sooner than the other. All in all, not a great Mr. Tire experience!

  TL;DR Shady practices and unserviced equipment. Wanted me to pay for something under warranty. Kept my car hostage on broke equipment. 4/16/26 I bring my car to the shop to get an alignment check and if need be get it aligned, I am using Silver Rock Carvana’s warranty provider. The moment I walk in I state this to the guy up front, “Hey my alignment feels off and I am using the Carvana warranty” guy says okay and asks for my keys, no information was collected from me and no ticket was opened for the claim. An hour goes by and the guy says they started working on it, I see through the glass my car on the lift. Then and only then does the gentleman up front start collecting information. Come to find out Silver rock Carvana’s warrant provider closes at 6 making them unable to cover it outside of work day hours. I say well when I walked in I told you what I needed and how I was going to pay. The guy says well you can pay for it now and they’ll reimburse you in 75 days, I said no I’ll just take my car and go, he says okay opens the door to the garages and I can hear him says “stop the alignment”. So I go outside to wait for my car to be taken off the life and see a technician actively working on the vehicle that they were told to stop working on. Come to find out they said the car cannot be taken down because the lift is now not working. I was told to come back tomorrow at 7 because the technician will be there at 6am well I was Originally told 8pm now 6am and as I am here in the shop writing this I am told around 8:30am-ish. Regardless just highly unprofessional, I collected voice recordings and photos of the conversations had and the technician doing work on my vehicle when already told not to. Just super unprofessional and kinda shady, this is my first time here but won’t lie wouldn’t mind if this was my last time at Mr.Tire.

  I had an extremely frustrating experience at Mr. Tire and would strongly caution others before going there. I initially brought my car in for new tires. I was told by the mechanic that I did not need tires and instead needed a wheel alignment. I trusted their professional judgment and paid for the alignment. After the alignment, my car was actually WORSE and began pulling to one side. I returned a total of FOUR times trying to resolve the issue. On my final visit, I was suddenly told that my front tires needed to be replaced — the exact service I originally came in for and was told I didn’t need. When I agreed and asked them to complete the work, they refused and told me to come back another day. I then contacted customer service for a refund, only to be denied. The store manager is now claiming they never told me my tires needed replacing, which is completely untrue. I’m now being told I have to go to another shop, pay out of pocket for the tires and bring documentation, and even then a refund is not guaranteed. So to sum it up: • I paid for a service I didn’t need • My car is now in worse condition than before • I wasted time going back multiple times • I’m being denied a refund based on false claims This is unacceptable. I am now out of money and still have an unresolved issue with my car. If you value your time, money, and safety — I would avoid this location.
