I brought my car in because a rear tire had a nail in it. After what appeared to be only a brief visual inspection, I was told definitively that this type of tire could not be repaired. I was then told the tire had been discontinued and was no longer available, meaning I would need to replace all four tires at a cost of nearly $2,000.
The interaction felt unnecessarily aggressive and was not particularly helpful. I had to ask several follow-up questions just to understand what was being recommended and why.
Because I was not confident with the explanation, I sought a second opinion from another tire store. They confirmed that the tire was still available and could, in fact, be safely repaired. They completed the repair for $40.
I understand that professionals may occasionally reach different conclusions, but the enormous difference between a simple $40 repair and a nearly $2,000 replacement recommendation was deeply concerning.
Based on both the inaccurate information I received and the way it was communicated, I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before approving expensive work at this location.

First off very knowledgeable for the service and explained very detailed.
Great work.
Offered warranty before paying and again explained very detailed. The warranty is needed due to the road conditions basically everywhere. Alot of times a new tire is needed. It is great to have a warranty paying once not a monthly payment plan.
My guess is reasonable. Of course personally the customer wants to pay close to nothing.
