  Eric came to my house in Berkeley Heights to replace my son's windshield on his Acura RDX. Communication from Eric prior to arriving and throughout his time here was detailed and thorough. We are very pleased with the service and quality of work that was done. This was our second time using Safelite and very pleased both times.

  Never, and I mean never, get your glass repaired or replaced by Safelite. Not once have they worked on my car without damaging something. The last time they worked on my car, they scratched up my entire interior. And to make matters worse, both of these cars are brand new. This explains why the technician had me sitting in the waiting room for two hours after my car was supposedly ready…he knew he had broken something. Absolutely unacceptable.

  I scheduled through my insurance company and the facility was ready for me when I arrived. I had a windshield replaced and needed my safety systems recalibrated. I took about 1.5 hours, a little shorter than I was told to expect. The technician came to explain everything to me. I was very pleased with the whole experience.

  Safelite shop where they have a garage, a spot to wait inside and a window into the shop. It was actually quite interesting watching the process - they were quick once the work started. The shop is on the Westbound side of 46 so you may need a long turnaround at a light down the road. First time in for a crack (faster to go than to have someone come out to my work/home). My car was in theory next but the person who assigned the paperwork had to go into the garage and remind the guys to pull it in after waiting more than an hour. The small chip I had on my windshield unfortunately made it into a large crack as it was close to the edge. So I had to come back a second time for a full replacement. They handled the paperwork with the insurer. Replacement holding up well, stickers like the emissions one was moved, and they gave me some extra stickers to replace the old EZ-Pass velcro, which was nice. They have wifi, coffee, and water, plus a bathroom. Not super-close to anything if you have to stay a while for food options, so UberEats was used by others waiting.

  I first got my windshield replaced at my home, which was convenient. The problem was that the tech was unable to calibrate my front facing camera, so I had to call to make an appointment to bring it into the shop anyway (which I was hoping to avoid). Once I got the the shop, the service was fine, but I had to wait nearly an hour after my scheduled appointment for them to even start working on my car. So, a 15-minute job ended up being 1 hour 15 minutes. What’s the point of scheduling an appointment if you cannot reasonably offer the service on time? This review is no reflection on the technicians, as they were friendly and helpful. Rather, the experience was more of a hassle than I expected it to be
