  LYING THIEVES. I wish there was an option for zero stars because 1 is too much. I just had my oil change done and was told I need to have my car's AC refrigerant taken out and replaced. I am a refrigeration technician for 25 years and this is a BLATANT LIE. I was told my oil drain plug threads were worn out and their explanation was they just wear down over time, LIE #2. They get damaged or destroyed from not using a torque wrench set to the proper torque for that plug, which I also did not hear a torque wrench click when they replaced it. The only good surprise I had was they didn't try to sell me an air filter in place of my K&N that I clean and recondition myself. It's an absolutely disgusting practice business use deception to increase their profits. Shame on you. To customers - knowledge is power, learn everything you can to protect yourself.

  Tipped guy $20 to make sure they will wipe my frame after oil change and they destroyed my brand new driveway I should sue this place for clean up

  Mike the Manager at the Old Bridge location did a great job with explaining what needed to be done to my car. He was kind, knowledgeable, and compassionate. I would recommend this location and Mike to anyone.

  Extremely disappointing experience at Valvoline today. I came in for a simple oil change and was treated with disrespect from the moment I arrived. I opened my door only to explain how to properly open my hood, because an employee was pulling it the wrong way and could have damaged it. Instead of listening, several employees started yelling, ‘Sir, stay in your car!’ in a very aggressive tone. The employee with the beard and earrings was especially rude and unprofessional. Rather than helping or communicating respectfully, he raised his voice and acted as if I had done something wrong, when I was simply trying to protect my vehicle. Customer service should be respectful and professional. There was no reason to yell at a customer who was only trying to help. I left feeling shocked, disrespected, and unwelcome. Management should seriously address the behavior and customer service skills of their staff. Customers deserve to be treated with courtesy and respect, not hostility. Based on my experience, I will not be returning and I cannot recommend this location to others. I expected a professional oil change service, but received rude and aggressive treatment instead.
