I walked in to oakland auto works hoping to get some help. While Rich was juggling phone calls and all the lifts were full he still took the time to hear me out and said he would try to clear the code. He successfully removed the code and didn't charge me. Scanners costs thousands of dollars and require annual subscriptions. Rich would have every right to charge me. Very grateful for what Rich did for me and won't hesitate to see him in the future for any automotive needs.

Not only did he not charge me for looking it over, but instead of trying to sell me an expensive repair, he suggested I contact the Acura dealer to see if the repair was still covered under the extended warranty. He was absolutely right, and that advice ended up saving me thousands of dollars. That level of honesty and integrity is incredibly rare. More recently, I had a no-start issue that turned out to be a bad starter. Anthony walked me through several repair options, including OEM and aftermarket, and recommended a high-quality remanufactured starter that would save me money without sacrificing reliability. Once again, I never felt pressured—just given honest, straightforward advice that was clearly in my best interest. Finding a repair shop you can truly trust is not easy, but Rich, Anthony, and the entire team at Oakland Autoworks have earned mine. Their honesty, professionalism, and willingness to put the customer first have made me a customer for life. I'll be bringing my car there whenever it needs service, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy mechanic.
