  The Oakland, NJ, has consistently had friendly and professional staff. Have often gotten free upgrades when they don't have my chosen model in their inventory. Minimal if any attempts at upselling.

  The staff at Enterprise in Oakland were not helpful regarding my rental car. Even though I had a reservation, they told me they did not have a vehicle available. They said I would have to wait, that they could not check the system for availability, and that they did not know whether another location had a car. They told me I would need to call different locations one by one myself. It’s disappointing that locations within the same company seem to have no communication or coordination with each other.

  A+ Experience – Highly Recommend The entire process was quick and easy, especially reserving the car online. I needed a rental while my personal vehicle was being repaired, and the flexibility was excellent. I was able to modify my reservation multiple times without any hassle—first upgrading to an SUV for easier access, and later adjusting my return date to bring the car back early. When I returned the vehicle a bit later than expected, the Oakland staff kindly stayed a few extra minutes past closing to assist me. They were welcoming, professional, and pleasant both at pickup and drop-off. Overall, an outstanding experience from start to finish—thank you!
