  This place it’s a rip off got my mufflers deleted, they use really bad pipping to weld but yet charge so much for it. Came back in today because I had put my car on the lift and seen the pipe broken and the other side completely rusted out. And the manager that’s pat or whatever his name was wanted me to pay 300 for them to fix a bad job that they did the excuse was “We all use the same pipe that only last about two years and it’s just normal that it happens, since we are in Jersey, if you were in another state you would get a little longer” I had other cars pipping down by other shops never have I ran into this issue this shop is a scam charge a lot just to use shitty material, If they know they are using bad pipes why charge so much or charge again to redo a bad job that they know they did. I ADVISE EVERYONE TO START CHECKING their cars for this same issue I am sure you will find the same problem!!!

  After I read google reviews 4.9 stars (241), I brought my 2015 Honda CR-V in for a P0420 one code and was quoted $1,300+tax for an aftermarket catalytic converter. During the job, they tacked on a "circle flex pipe," and my final bill skyrocketed to $1,785.97.My invoice shows the parts were special-ordered aftermarket components ("S/o ABS"), not premium OEM parts. Charging nearly $500 extra to install a budget flex pipe while the exhaust assembly was already taken apart is a massive overcharge. They charged dealer-level prices for everyday aftermarket warehouse parts. Get a second opinion before letting them touch your car.

  I can't say enough about Bargain Brakes & Mufflers, or Pat (and Chad)! We brought our car in late afternoon and they called by 8:15 a.m. the next morning with an assessment and estimate, and had it repaired perfectly within two hours. I never even needed to rent a car. One of the few places I've been that actually had parts in stock immediately. Pat is honest, kind, funny, and an amazing mechanic and manager! Highly recommend!

  I've been here twice for two different cars and thrilled with both outcomes. They're trustworthy, efficient and entertaining. I took the car in today, the problem was assessed in a few minutes and was fixed within the hour - all for a great price.
