I brought my car to this Mavis because I noticed a nail in my tire and it had been gradually losing air. I was there for about an hour and a half while they supposedly repaired the tire. I was told they plugged it without removing the tire from the vehicle.
Unfortunately, by the time I got home, the tire was still losing air. I then took my car to another Mavis location closer to my house, where they inspected the tire and informed me that the nail had never been removed and the tire had never been plugged.
This was extremely upsetting. I paid for a repair that apparently was never performed, wasted over an hour of my time, and was left driving on a tire that was still unsafe.
What makes this even more disappointing is that this is the second serious issue I've had with this location. A few years ago, I brought my Volvo in for an oil change, and the service resulted in significant engine damage. Despite that experience, I gave them another chance because I thought I could trust them with something as basic as a tire repair.
Unfortunately, this experience proved otherwise.
