I visited this location for a simple check-engine light diagnostic and ended up waiting outside for nearly 45 minutes, only to watch employees assist customers who arrived well after me. When I asked about the wait, I was told to continue waiting until the other customers were taken care of. Apparently, the fact that I had already been waiting for 45 minutes meant absolutely nothing. To make matters worse, when I requested to speak with the store manager regarding the situation, the employees refused to connect me with the manager and instead told me to come back tomorrow. Seriously? After making a customer wait for 45 minutes without providing any service, this is how a complaint is handled? I eventually left without even getting my vehicle checked. I honestly regret wasting 45 minutes of my time and being patient enough to wait that long. Extremely unprofessional, poor customer service, and absolutely no respect for customers’ time. A simple diagnostic turned into a frustrating and completely wasted visit. I would not recommend this location

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
