  I’ve rented from the EWR Sixt office a few times. Quick easy service. **DO NOT OPT FOR THEIR TOLL SERVICE** it’s outrageously expensive. Call **826 on your phone and set up an individual account. You will get direct billed from easy pass without the car agency up-charge and ridiculous fees. You can easily select “rental car and rental date/times” so you’re only covering your toll usage.

  They are frauds. They will keep charging your card even after returning the car. People in the floor are so useless. DO NOT GO WITH THIS RENTAL COMPANY. Update- don’t you think I reached out to the fraud ‘customer service’ department? No one replied back to me. At last, I had to call my bank to dispute the charge of $70.15 placed by you fraudsters just because you guys have my card on file and I won’t realize you are charging long after I made a mistake of renting a car from you. I had to cancel that card and get a new one so that frauds at Sixt won’t charge me.

  I recently had a disappointing experience with the customer service team. After waiting for 10 minutes, the representative hung up on me, which was not only unprofessional but also a waste of my time. As a corporate client, I expect a higher level of service, particularly when it comes to resolving issues. Furthermore, their claim of offering a 15% discount is misleading, as they charge the same rate regardless of account type. It's frustrating to see them prioritize timely calls when disputing charges but neglect customer service.

  I had a great experience with SIXT, and I especially want to recognize Taylor for the amazing service she provided. She was extremely friendly, professional, and helpful throughout the entire process. Taylor made everything quick and easy, answered all my questions, and genuinely made me feel welcomed and taken care of. It’s always refreshing to receive this level of customer service, especially when traveling. Thank you, Taylor, for going above and beyond and making my experience with SIXT such a positive one. She is definitely an asset to the company. Highly recommended!

  We had awful experience at SIXT. We had booked a car in advance and paid for it as well. When we got to the airport to get the car, woman at SIXT desk told us that my father's driver's license wasn't accepted just because it's older model than the newer ones. The card stated clearly that it will be valid till 2042 and this very same driver's licence was accepted in Italy, Germany etc in last two years without any issues. So all the "help" we got from SIXT employees was that "maybe we should update our driver's licences". This experience was very infuriating and like I mentioned, all the people working there were very reluctant to help us at all, and I can't recommend this place for anyone. We certainly won't be making any reservations for SIXT in the future.
