Have you ever wondered what hell would be like if it were a truck stop? Well this is it! I invite you to come and stay in the truck parking area were you can enjoy the delightful aroma which smells like soneone put out a dumpster fire with diarrhea. If that didnt peak your interest go in to use the restroom where there may or may not have toilet paper. If you needed a crazy thing like fuel past 6pm then you are sooo out of luck till 7am, when they reopen. Pilot really needs to do something here. Horrible service, by nice enough people. Like idiots we keep coming because it's the only game in town.

I have been driving commercially for a long time, and this was the most aggressive and unprofessional encounter I have ever had with anyone working at a truck stop.
After fueling my truck, I needed approximately 5–10 more minutes to complete my legally required break. There were no free parking spaces available, so I pulled behind another semi that was already stopped in a red “No Parking” area. My intention was simply to finish my break and leave immediately.
Instead of approaching me professionally, the security guard hired by Statewide Protective Service started pounding on my truck and window. When I cracked the window open, he immediately began yelling at me. He climbed onto the step of my truck, got directly into my face, and continued shouting while I was calmly trying to explain that I had just fueled and only needed a few more minutes before leaving.
There was no reason for this level of aggression. At no point did I refuse to leave or become confrontational. If he had simply approached me respectfully and said, “Sir, this area is not for parking. Please move your truck,” I would have done exactly that without hesitation.
Instead, I was treated with intimidation, hostility, and complete disrespect. The way he pounded on my truck, invaded my personal space, and tried to escalate the situation was shocking. No customer should ever be approached like that.
I immediately reported the incident to the Pilot manager. She apologized and explained that the security personnel are employed by Statewide Protective Service, not Pilot. I appreciated her apology, but I sincerely hope this incident is taken seriously.
Security officers are supposed to de-escalate situations, not create them. Based on my experience, this guard’s behavior did the exact opposite. I genuinely worry that if he continues treating drivers this way, he will eventually provoke someone into a confrontation that could have been completely avoided. I was moments away from getting into the fight with this person, in order to protect myself and my property, but decided to remain calm and avoid the bigger incident and consequences.
I am attaching a photo that is publicly available from the security company’s own Facebook page so people know which guard I am referring to. I believe customers deserve to know who they may encounter.
I hope both Pilot and Statewide Protective Service address this and remove this person from this position, before another driver has a similar experience.
This happened today, 8/6/2026 around 1 pm.
