Steve and Jesse really helped me out - my Tesla Model Y had a bad air leak from running over metal debris on I-95 at 4am. I called Steve first thing at morning opening and he told me to come on down and they would take care of me. Despite being fully booked, they fit me in their schedule and gave me a quality repair that allowed me to safely drive another 1,000 miles to get home. I appreciated Jesse showing me how bad the damage was and showing me the patch. The price was completely fair for a walk-in emergency repair. My biggest advice is to call ahead and keep expectations realistic - Steve does his best to keep everyone happy, but this location is fully booked all the time, probably because they do good work and have repeat customers.

I dropped my vehicle off at 9:45 am saturday for brakes rotors and an oil change. I called at 3:30 to check on the status of my car WHILE DRIVING BY and found that my vehicle was still in the same spot. George from mavis told me the car was almost done. When i advised him that the car was where i left it he hung up on me. Fast forward the next day I have an emergency in which i need my car back i go to pick it up they put the wrong oil and tried to charge me for it. Then they told me they gave me a 300 dollar discount for the trouble (which means that the total would have been over 800 for brakes rotors and oil change for a 2013 hyundai tucson base everything). I spoke with Steve in regards to the deception of his staff/coworkers and he agreed its not how a business should operate.
Update:
So i called the number provided by consumer solutions and was advised that a regional manager would call me about a week and a half ago. I followed up and someone told me they would call me back and that was 4 days ago. Still have not heard anything. It appears that mavis corporate just wanted to MAKE IT LOOK LIKE they were going to handle the situation at the mavis in monmouth junction. Avoid mavis at all costs. Dishonesty in the store and clearly not a care from the corporate office.
