This was, without question, the worst tire purchasing experience I have ever had.
The facility was dirty and poorly maintained. It looked more like a roadside tire shop than a professional automotive service center. Even more concerning was the way I witnessed staff members interacting with elderly customers. Their behavior came across as rude, dismissive, and unprofessional.
I had a scheduled appointment at 11:00 AM to replace a single tire. After waiting approximately 40 minutes, I asked for an update and was informed that the service would take an additional 3 to 4 hours. For a simple one-tire replacement, this is completely unreasonable and unacceptable.
I then contacted customer service to file a complaint and request a refund. Unfortunately, that experience was just as disappointing. The first representative I spoke with was unhelpful and unprofessional. He stated that he could not assist me unless I provided specific details about the store location because Mavis has over 600 locations and it was "too much" for him to look up. I found this response unbelievable. He also informed me that it would take 7 to 10 business days to receive my refund.
Unsatisfied with that response, I ended the call and contacted customer service again. The second representative was able to quickly locate my reservation using my appointment information and informed me that my refund would be processed within 72 hours. The vast difference between the information provided by two representatives raises serious concerns about employee training, consistency, and customer service standards.
Based on this experience, it appears that many employees at Mavis either do not want to perform their jobs properly or have not been adequately trained to do so. The level of service I received was far below expectations, and it has significantly damaged my perception of the company.
As a result, I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future, including Costco or BJ's Wholesale Club.

I got a flat tire and panicked, I had so many questions but Joseph was kind enough to explain it to me, he’s a serious man but I found him very comforting. He explained to me which tires he recommended and why. Some mechanic places you are scared to be scammed but this person was honest and did not push me to do anything which I liked. Joseph explaining things nicely to me helped me make a decision. Def will come back to this place if I’m in ever need of a service !

My friend went here for a last minute issue with her oil. They said they would top off her oil and didn’t charge her. Next day her car broke down and engine seized. Towed it to Mercedes where they told her the oil filter housing had been damaged and oil leaked into the engine. When she called Mavis to ask about this they hung up on her. This is not the first time someone I know has gone to a Mavis and was left with more problems than they came in with. TERRIBLE COMPANY ‼️‼️

On our way to our family getaway weekend, we discovered a leak in our back tire.
