    Terrible people, terrible car selection. They told me that they would have the exact years, make, model, trim, and features I was looking for shipped to the dealership and that they would call me when the shipment arrived. They lied through their teeth--there was never a shipment coming. They made it up. They were just hoping I would cave in, come back to the dealership and just buy whatever they recommended. When they don't have what you're looking for, all they do is show you similar cars even though you are entitled as a customer to want what you want. They play stupid games at this dealership and as a result, they're winning a stupid prize. Also, the facility is very outdated and inhospitable. You have to wait for 2 consecutive gates to open, go over a random old speed bump, and go through a winding maze so you can actually leave the facility. No other dealership is like this. This is one of the weirdest and most frustrating car dealerships I've ever been to in my life.

    I will never purchase or have my car serviced at this location ever again. The customer service is horrible the communication it horrible. Only time the customer service is great is when you purchasing a vehicle you get tons of calls and follow up promptly to the moment you sign after that they treat you with no importance at all. After going to this location to get my car serviced , They courtesy wash my car my personal bumper protector had been destroyed in the process. I immediately noticed the supervisor. I was told to purchase a new one and bring the receipt and I would be reimbursed. Fast forward I purchased a new one personally took the receipt to the appropriate person (Robert) was told I would be reimbursed on the following business day two months to the date of me writing this review. I haven’t received nothing but run around. I called the cooperate office and they lied and told the corporate office they issued a check. I actually spoke to someone by the name of Freda who I thought was going to resolve this she ask me to resend the receipt again. So apparently the receipt was lost on their end since the began instead of saying resend it again in the beginning just keep giving me the run around. I was definitely going to upgrade my Toyota Camry but this horrible experience instantly changed my mind. I will not recommend nor will I purchase or service my car at this location ever again what a horrible experience I was really happy to have purchased my car here only in the end to be disappointed in this way. This is a true customer experience and frustration I’m sharing my experiences so others will know how this location treats their customers from first hand experience. Toyota Universe

    I came to Toyota Universe on consumer reports and came in fully expecting to buy the car. Rodolfo was an excellent salesperson and was kind, humble, and friendly throughout. Toyota Universe’s salespeople brought up made up fees and unrealistic requirements for list price deals. The 50% down and 840+ credit score has already been mentioned in other low reviews. They also came up with a $3200 CPO fee, have an 800$ clerical fee on all purchases, and excuses why they cant respect the consumer reports price. Trust is an expensive thing to lose. If you can afford to shop here, expect to pay $10k+ than what you come in expecting. Edit: check the profiles of any 5 star review you see to make sure they aren’t fake profiles put up by the sales associates.

    Very disappointing experience.They offered me a 2023 Toyota Camry SE with 25,748 miles for $26k OTD. I showed more interest in two 2023 Toyota Camry SE’s AWD and one 2024 Toyota Camry SE AWD each within range of the sticker price of the original SE they offered me for $26k. They said the lowest they will go is $29k OTD for those (which is how much I told them I was requesting a loan from my bank for). Out of the three AWD SE’s, the highest sticker price was $805 more than the SE they offered me for $26k, and the lowest sticker price was $995 cheaper than the SE they offered. Didn’t make any pricing sense for them to be $3000 more and definitely gives the vibe that they were praying on what I liked more and my access to capital. And when we sat down for pricing, they tried to make my sign a paper saying, “I agree to purchase this car TODAY if I can get a price that I like.” Which I did not sign and find odd. Avoid going here, unfair pricing and manipulation tactics.

    They posted a used 2024 Toyota RAV 4 Plug-in Hybrid online that was advertised ss Gold Certified for a highly competitive price. As a Tier 1+ credit buyer I asked for the Toyota Financial Services (TFS) rate sheet to look at their APR rates. I qualified for a 4.75% APR. Had I not asked for this I was initially quoted 6.9% APR. We then test drove the vehicle and was told it came with no charger, there was no cargo cover, no floor mats, gash in the front passenger tire rim. Now, as a Gold Certified vehicle, it must come with all of the original or OEM parts as if new. I then asked to see the 160 point Gold Certification checklist in addition to the Vehicle Inquiry Report which beyond the CarFax report will show service codes, recalls and any battery degradation if it's a Hybrid or EV. As a buyer, it is your consumer right to ask for this. The Gold Certification checklist showed that what should be in the vehicle, was not there. As you can imagine, this annoyed sales management that I was making these rightful requests. The Director of Operations, possibly Finance then came over and proceeded to want to make a deal asking me to put down 50% on the car and with an 800+ credit score (mine was higher) and an APR% of 6.9%. I chuckled and said the demand was absurd and asked him to once again show the TFS rate sheet. He produced an expired April "hot sheet" that is not whatvI had asked for or what they had previously shown me. He immediately became belligerent and said, had I known all of this I would've sent you down the street to the other dealer. He then said he wouldn't be making a deal with me and asked us to leave. When I asked him for his name, he gave me a false name. We left and I filed a complaint with Corporate Toyota Brand Engagement Center. My advice: do your due diligence when buying a vehicle from them. They were outsmarted and knew it. Otherwise, stay away!
