- JKJoseph KohnAug 24, 20261.0I purchased a cargo area mat for my Ram ProMaster work van. It fell short of my expectations, so I didn't use it. Instead, I purchased a Mopar mat from the Ram dealer, which is twice as thick. I called American Van to arrange the return. They said I'm on my own to procure shipping back to them. Their price to ship it to me was $43. The best price I could find to ship it back to them was $130. So I'm out $177 for shipping a $200 item. What a poor way to conduct business online. I can understand that I'd be on the hook for shipping costs, but they should have arranged the return shipping so I could pay a price reflecting the volume discount they get from FedEx.
