  Very disappointing experience. The tire replacement was done incorrectly—the tire rotation direction was backwards, so the work had to be redone. I also noticed a visible scratch on the fender near the tire after the service. I asked the manager to review the video footage, but I never received a call back. Another employee looked at the scratch and immediately insisted it could not have happened there, without reviewing any footage. They also told me the right-side axle and related components needed replacement and that a transmission leak tot cost approximately $2,000. I took the car to my trusted mechanic for a second opinion, and everything was in order. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend getting a second opinion before approving any expensive repairs here. The poor workmanship, lack of follow-up, and refusal to properly investigate the scratch were completely disappointing probably will never come back .

  I would like to commend Mavis Tire 440 for their service. I brought my car in for a wheel alignment, and after the service was completed, the mechanic test-drove my vehicle. Unfortunately, I later noticed that some items I had purchased online were missing from my car. I’m sharing this experience to remind everyone to please secure your belongings and avoid leaving valuables inside your vehicle when having it serviced. While I can’t speak for everyone’s experience, I believe it’s important to be cautious and keep your personal items safe.

  Today had been a great day at most part but glad to know I had Mavis discount to help me out thru my journey of the day. Was in need of an oil change and wipers plus 2 front tires and rear shocks had gave me a true reasonable price to work with and plus the Mavis rewards card that had help me out more so thanks to RICHARD & ARTURO that had made my day and my journey great full

  Extremely disappointing experience. I unfortunately got a flat tire right in front of this location and brought my vehicle in for what should have been a straightforward rear-left tire repair. I was told the wait would be anywhere from 45 to 180 minutes because the location was understaffed. Had I known how poorly staffed and managed this location was, I would have gone elsewhere. What I cannot understand is how a single tire can take over an hour to service when my vehicle is already inside the shop. Being understaffed is a management issue and should not become the customer’s problem, especially without reasonable communication or an accurate estimate. The customer service made the situation even worse. When I questioned the wait time, the associate I was speaking with told me he did not want to continue the conversation and passed me to Richurd that was very helpful while the other employee went on a smoke break. That is completely unprofessional and unacceptable when dealing with a customer who is simply asking for an explanation. Thankfully, the second associate was actually willing to help and communicate with me. Between the excessive wait, poor communication, lack of staffing, and the dismissive attitude from the first associate, this was an unnecessarily frustrating experience. I would not recommend this location based on the service I received.

  The only tires on Mavis’ website without a listed brand or meaningful reviews were NIKA/AVATAR. Nearly every other tire shows the brand and customer reviews. I didn’t realize this until after installation. Within 2 days, one tire dropped to 15 PSI, multiple tires were losing air, the car shook even at low speeds, and one tire appeared visibly bent. Instead of immediately addressing the tire issue, I was told (by Greg, the store manager) I need a wheel bearing. My mechanic later found my brake pads were only about 15% remaining, something Mavis never mentioned despite offering brake service. Getting the tires replaced was frustrating. Even after a warranty ticket was created and another Mavis location confirmed my 8:00 a.m. appointment, it still took about 5 hours to complete. The warranty team also told me the replacement alignment would be covered, but I ultimately did not receive a free second alignment. I also had to pay the labor plus the price difference to switch to another budget tire brand. Total cost: $553 for the original tires and alignment, plus $337 to replace them—about $890 total for budget tires on an older Honda Civic. I never received a proper corrected invoice, only a card receipt and emailed notes. My advice: confirm the exact tire brand before installation. Spending a little more on a reputable tire the first time can save you time, money, and frustration.
