If you are looking to spend some time boating around NYC, this is your best option. Manhattan has no docking options for typical recreational boats, so being parked directly across from the city is an easy option. The Liberty Landing ferry will take you directly here from Brookfield Place if you are staying in Manhattan.
My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Liberty Landing for the 4th. The dock slip was perfect, the people were kind, friendly and fun to be around. The facilities were immaculate, with cleaning staff at the ready. Janier was very helpful in setting us up and helping us gas up and pump out. Moochie was a doll, and both the Gabes made sure our boat was set up perfectly in the 100+ degree heat. Greg was awesome at handling our request.
What was also nice was the restaurants and the park. We loved the Feathered Fox (try the sushi!), and Erica at Maddy Rose was a doll. The food trucks at the park also helped us cool off and stay hydrated.
We highly recommend their slips as a great alternative to the other NYC-centered marinas, as the surroundings are great and you are just an easy ferry ride from the city. Can't wait to return for another visit!

Had a wonderful time at Liberty Landing Marine. The staff was so kind and wonderful even under the extreme pressure of it being over 100 degrees on a very busy July 4 weekend. From the helping hand that met us at our slip to assist with docking to the very patient people working in office to check us in. I give them all the highest compliment.

Super friendly staff!
Maureen is the best!!
Good docks, friendly neighbors, great location.
We came for the Sail 250 event, parade and fireworks right out of the canal.
Excellent restaurant steps up the dock.
Good stop over running north or south or just a weekend destination.
It doesn’t get better than this.
Been keeping my boat here for five years now. The dockmaster, dockhands, and service guys are outstanding. You can’t beat the view, and access to the Hudson and NYC harbor is great. Far enough back that there is no wake from the river. Ample parking too, as long as Sail GP isn’t in town. The grounds are just OK, for what is charged. Too many wobbly finger piers, a security system that seems like it’s malfunctioning half the time, bathrooms that don’t lock properly, worn down bulkheads. Really wish it had a pool, like most marinas we visit do. But overall I like it here very much.
