  Enterprise Rent-A-Car (Community Park Location) I’ve rented multiple vehicles from this location, and unfortunately, I’ve had repeated negative and concerning experiences. A few weeks ago, I rented a car for a family trip to Massachusetts. During the drive, I noticed serious mechanical issues, including problems with the gas pedal and brakes. At several points, I genuinely felt that my life and my family’s safety were at risk. I had to stop midway through the trip and call to report the issue. Since it was a Saturday and the office had already closed, I was advised by customer support to either call a tow truck or attempt to drive to the nearest open location in Lawrence the next day. This completely disrupted and ruined our family trip. When I returned the replacement vehicle and shared my concerns, one employee told me that the maintenance staff “don’t really do a good job” and that they frequently receive customer complaints about vehicle conditions. I was shocked that staff are aware of ongoing safety issues but nothing seems to be done to fix them. Additionally, I’ve had multiple issues with lost items and lack of follow-up: * I left a bag with important documents in one of the vehicles. I called, was told I’d get a callback, but no one ever followed up. * On a separate rental, I left prescription glasses in the car. Again, I called and was promised a callback—no response. * Weeks later, when I went back in person, another employee checked and found both my bag and glasses in their lost-and-found area. This confirmed that previous staff did not properly check or follow through. I was also told by an employee that the cleaning team often fails to properly inspect vehicles and that complaints about cleanliness and lost items are common. Between the serious safety concerns, poor vehicle maintenance, lack of accountability, and failure to follow up with customers, I find this location extremely troubling. Customers should not be put at risk by being given unsafe vehicles, nor should their concerns be ignored. At this point, I am seriously considering pursuing legal action due to the safety risks involved and the repeated negligence demonstrated by this location.
