  Akeem and the team at Mavis always take care of me and go above and beyond to make sure my car is perfect and safe for me and my family. Their professionalism, honesty, and attention to detail mean a lot to me, and I’m forever grateful for all their hard work.   Mavis of Jackson..Caught a flat tire in Jackson no idea how or what I hit. Changed to a spare side of the road, found this Mavis location near by to see what was what. First, staff was very friendly. Told me how much for a flat change, "reasonable". After checking everything out, found out the damage to the tire was not repairable. Puncture to or near the sidewall. Tire was only a year old but was informed need to purchase a new one. Probably could have found a better price but time to shop was not on my side. Same tire Goodyear was not cheap but they took care of everything in about an hour. Used Mavis of Freehold to purchase original tires but never got the "warranty" so...here I am ..

  The Manager at Mavis is a master of exaggeration and mistruths. Here is an example of some of the false statements that he makes to clients. Mistruth: Tires are no good after 5 years and need to be replaced Fact: Tires need to be examined periodically after 5 years for dry rots and cracks but do not automatically need to be discarded. For instance, if someone kept their car in a garage or a shaded place, the tires may not experience dry rotting after 5 years. The Manager wanted to even replace tires with 6/32 tread. The industry standard is to replace tires at 4/32 tread for regions that experience significant rain or snow unless the tire has disfigurement or extensive dry rotting. Also, tires must be replaced after 8 years from date of manufacture even if they have significant tread left. Tires should be inspected periodically once they reach 5 years of age. Please do not blindly follow the Manager’s suggestions at Mavis, but get a second option from a mechanic that does not sell tires. Corporate needs to send undercover customers to Mavis at Jackson to preserve the company’s reputation.

  I was towed here after my tire went completely flat while during on 195 headed to work. When I arrived I was visibly shaken and worried about my tire. As soon as I got through the door Akeem immediately noticed and reassured me that they were going to take care of everything. I got there around 8:06pm and wasn’t rushed at all. My car did need to stay overnight, but first thing in the morning (this morning) I was notified that my baby was all fixed & ready for pick up. I am grateful for all the employees that were so kind and helpful to me! Keep up the great work! And a special thank you to Akeem for going the extra mile to ensure I’d have a safe vehicle in a timely manner!!! If you need any tire service come here!!! The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, & eager to help!!!

  I highly recommend Mavis Tires As I was on a road trip from Ohio I saw my tire pressure going down I have a brand new truck and I just couldn’t take any risk They took me right away Explained and showed me all the issues and damages And were straight to the point Thank you so much For your professional professionalism
