- CPCraig PollackMay 3, 20261.0I only gave them one start because you have to give something to be able to post. Valvoline Oil Change is a ripoff. There is a reason they don't give prices on their website. You go there and they give you one price for the oil change, in my case I chose the $73.00 option which was a synthetic Conventional mix. But then came the extra charges...apparently the new oil filter is not included in the oil change so that would have been an additional $15.00 (For a filter that at the auto parts store is aroung $7.00,) Then came the additional quart of oil because the $73.00 oil change only covers 4 quarts of oil regardless of the fact that now most cars take at least 5 quarts. So that is another $10.00. So had I stayed this $73.00 advertised oil change would have cost me after taxes $103.00. Also the coupon that I pulled off their website was not going to be accepted because apparently it is only good for the most expensive package which includes them checking the air in your tires. So buyer beware, it is actually cheaper to take your car to your local dealer where at least they give you free coffee and donutes.
