  I placed an order through AutoZone that was supposed to be delivered the same day. Instead, I received a call telling me I needed to come pick up the order myself. The person on the phone was rude and disrespectful, which made the situation even more frustrating. If same-day delivery is offered, customers should be able to rely on that service, or at the very least be spoken to professionally if there is an issue. This was poor customer service and a disappointing experience overall. I would not recommend this location based on how this was handled.

  My husband brought my jeep to purchase a new battery because his Harbor Freight tester said the battery needed to be replaced. Well they tested it and said it was fine. Seriously? That is good business!. My husband also went there a while ago to get a battery for his car and they took the old one out and put the new one in!!! So just go to autozone!

  I came in today to buy a bunch of car cleaning products. The store was clean and organized. The cashier was friendly and helpful.

  I recently visited AutoZone in Hackettstown, NJ and had a very disappointing experience. The biggest issue was the store manager, who came across as rude, obnoxious, and extremely unprofessional throughout my visit. Instead of helping customers, he seemed more interested in speaking down to people and creating a hostile environment. What was especially disturbing was how condescending he appeared toward non-English-speaking customers. His tone and behavior gave the impression of clear bias and disrespect, which was uncomfortable to witness. Every customer deserves to be treated with patience and dignity, regardless of language barriers. My own interaction was no better. I had simple questions regarding a battery purchase and warranty, and rather than assist me professionally, he was inattentive and dismissive. I also overheard him mutter what sounded like a misogynistic comment under his breath because I was asking questions. That kind of behavior is unacceptable in any customer-facing business. I expect far better from a national company. Management should seriously review the leadership and customer service standards at this location, because no customer should have to deal with disrespect, prejudice, or hostility while simply trying to make a purchase.
