    I had a great experience with Safelite. The entire process was smooth and efficient, and I didn’t have to wait long at all. The new windshield looks exactly like the original, I honestly can’t tell the difference. The service was professional from start to finish, and I was kept informed throughout the entire process. I am extremely satisfied with the quality of the work and the customer service. I highly recommend Safelite and would definitely use them again. Five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

    I couldn’t be any happier with the job they did replacing my front windshield, very courteous, very professional and finished the job in the time they said they would, also very honest by returning my wallet after I had accidentally dropped it the day before in their store.

    If I could give zero stars I would I should have just taken it to the dealership and actually got my advance driver assistance systems actually recalibrated for my 2015 Cadillac Escalade. That safelite falsely advertised and took my money yes of course they refunded me for that service that was not preformed. However, now I have to schedule another appointment with the dealership to finish a job that could have been done in one day. Thank you for wasting my valuable time safelite. In Addition, I find it absolutely ridiculous that you would not teach your technicians to know something that simple and inform the customer that they are sorry but they cannot recalibrate the (ADAS) and if they would like to cancel the appointment free of charge since they cannot do what they advertise to do!

    I had a mobile windshield replacement appointment today. Before the technician began any work, he told me he needed to collect my card information because the invoice was over $1,000. This was confusing because I had already saved my card online to be charged after the work was completed. I directly confirmed with the technician that I would not be charged until the job was finished, and he agreed. However, shortly after I gave him my card information, I checked my bank account and saw that I had already been charged $1,087, even though no work had been done. The technician then informed me that the replacement windshield he brought was damaged, with a chip in one corner, so the installation could not be completed. I took PTO from work for this appointment, was charged in full before any service was provided, and still have the same cracked windshield. The earliest Safelite can now reschedule me is Saturday, even though the issue was entirely on Safelite’s end. I also had no trouble getting calls before the appointment to confirm the service, but now that I’ve been charged and the job was not completed, I cannot reach anyone by phone. This was extremely unprofessional. A customer should not be charged before the service is completed, especially when the technician arrived with a damaged windshield that should have been inspected before leaving the warehouse. I am requesting that this be escalated, that the charge be addressed immediately, and that a discount or adjustment be provided for the inconvenience, lost PTO, and failure to complete the service as scheduled. 5/23/2026 quick update for anyone that cares. My windshield was replaced Thursday by the Safelite in Bayonne. It took 3 hours on the phone and being hung up on 3 different times to get someone to reach out and try to actually resolve this. They took 100$ off the bill for my inconvenience. They didn’t want to give any discount at all. I insisted. Oh and I was charged again for this replacement. That initial charge of 1087$? Still missing but Safelite assures me the charges were reversed and it should be showing up “any day now” as for the new windshield? Well this one had a long 8 inch scratch going across the side of it. They told me about the scratch after they already installed the windshield on my car. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt here but I truly don’t understand how you show up to a customer’s location with a cracked windshield, and then install a scratched windshield on a customers car. Does anyone even bother to look at these windshields before slapping it on your car? The technician was nice and did inform me that they are willing to replace the windshield again free of charge but I would have to wait another 2 weeks for them to get the part. At this point, I just want to be done dealing with this nightmare of a company. I’m not happy about paying to have a scratched windshield installed on my car, but I can live it with it if it means never having to deal with these people again. Hopefully I get my money back sometime next week. At this point, I was charged twice and still ended up with a scratched windshield.
