  Very disappointed with my experience with Safelite. I had my cracked windshield replaced through GEICO, only to find out that Safelite installed the incorrect windshield on my Subaru. Unfortunately, this was not caught by Safelite. It was my repair shop that identified the issue when my vehicle’s front camera would not calibrate properly. Apparently, the proper steps were not taken to ensure the correct windshield was ordered and installed in the first place. This is especially concerning because Subaru’s front camera is part of the vehicle’s safety system. For a company that specializes in windshield replacements, particularly on vehicles equipped with advanced safety features, I would expect much better attention to detail and quality control. Not only has this caused unnecessary inconvenience and frustration, but it has also resulted in additional costs and wasted time dealing with an issue that could have been avoided had the job been done correctly from the beginning. I paid for a professional service and trusted Safelite to complete the replacement properly. Instead, I am left dealing with the consequences of their mistake. At this point, I believe a full refund is warranted considering Geico had to open a new claim to get this error corrected. The additional expenses and inconvenience this has caused is ridiculous. Very disappointing experience. I expected far better from a company that specializes in this type of work, and unfortunately, that trust was misplaced.

  The technician came on the early side of the mobile service appointment schedule. He called to tell me he was at the location and started work immediately. He completed the job, including clean up, within an hour. The price was very reasonable and the tech was friendly. Brand new service truck too...

  I had a small chip in my windshield and the start of a once in crack which I was told would get larger if I left it alone so I called my insurance company and they suggested Safelite to repair the windshield. I scheduled the appointment and they were there on time and corrected the crack and garrentteed it would be ok. When they completed the job the windshield crack was sealed and life is good again.

  The experience from the time when first contacting our insurance company broker, and a customer service officer who handles windshield damages and cracks, Safelite was at the top of their list for reliable, professional, and highly skilled workmanship, so that started everything in motion. Safelite quickly reached out via text and email. It was very easy to follow and I was well prepared before the actual technician came to do the replacement right on our driveway. Marq Anthony was extremely pleasant and professional, getting right to work with meticulous precision. Everything was conducted with the expertise of a very skilled individual. and both the pre-work process and post installation key information had been conveyed clearly and to my complete satisfaction. The windshield, along with the newly installed wipers have been great — even seems more quiet in an already very quiet Lexus. FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE BOARD!!!
