    Seamless car renting experience; even though we came on a very busy day with car shortages and an overload of customers, the staff was still very professional and attentive. Due to the shortage at the time, we didn’t get the car we wanted but we still got a comparable/better car that got the job done at a very favorable rate. The after care is great too, dropping customers off to their houses if it’s within a 10 minute radius. Overall, the most professional and efficient car rental experience in Bergen county.

    It is effortless to rent a car in Enterprise Hackensack location. The guys are so helpful, giving you advice on the reservation and always very fast service. I recommend you reserve ahead of time since they are always very busy, but if you have a reservation is easy breezy. Excellent costumer services.

    Got into an accident my car was deemed a total loss. My insurance company makes a reservation with Enterprise. I call them and schedule the pick up day and tome time ( 7:30 am) and I am VERY VERY clear that the car given to me MUST be within my insurance Budget. I verify AGAIN all of this information right before I hang up the call the person on the other side confirmed. Day of pick up 7-23-26 7:30 am -no one to open the store the manager finally arrives at 7:50. They then inform me they have no car within my insurance policy budget which leaves me very confused as I had confirmed the day prior. I inform them I am not paying out of pocket they offered me taking a car today paying the difference and returning back to the location tomorrow to pick up a different car that would be within budget. I am already at this point over an hour late to work. They refused to accommodate me or should I say they didn’t want to accommodate me despite this is not an error on my part and ended up having to pay 110.00 for an uber to work as I work in Manhattan. Absolutely disgusting I will be following up with the corporate office this is absolutely unacceptable.

    ​Horrible Service and Disrespectful Staff – Avoid This Place! ​I received a rental car from this branch through my insurance company while my car was in the shop. Although the car could drive, the entire infotainment system was completely dead—no radio, no audio, no navigation, and absolutely no Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. ​When I went back to the branch to request an exchange, the staff didn't even bother to properly check the vehicle. Instead, they straight-up lied to my face, claiming it would work perfectly fine if I just plugged in a cable. I had to dig through the luggage I just moved from my repaired car to find a cable and prove to them it didn’t work. Only then did they finally admit that the infotainment system was defective. ​What made it worse was the employee’s appallingly unprofessional attitude. He was literally holding a slice of pizza in one hand and picking his teeth with a toothpick while casually telling me they had no cars available. He told me to either go find another branch to switch the car myself or call back early in the morning to check. No one ever bothered to call me back. Since you’ve already paid for the service, you are left begging and constantly checking up on them yourself if there’s an issue. ​The other branches are no different. When I called them to explain the situation and ask for a replacement, they all claimed they had no cars available. They clearly just don't want to deal with the inconvenience. How does a car rental company even accept customers if they supposedly "have no cars"? If they genuinely don't have a vehicle right now, they should be the ones sourcing a car from another location and scheduling an exchange for me—not making the customer call every single branch to fix their mistake. ​Absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.

    Update after they posted their response. I REST MY CASE, as I predicted, and probably an AI generated message from them that confirms what I said... Original Post They lied for two hours about picking me up from my hotel 1 mile away, and I called repeatedly and they put me on hold or back in the queue until the place closed and they ruined my weekend without a car. They have no shame, no integrity, and no professionalism. Please stay away from them, even the reservation process was flawed, as I asked about German SUV and they had Audi and BMW, but on the phone they only suggested a Chevy Tahoe that was most expensive. What a shame. I know from reading other reviews that they will provide a "canned answer" and apologize when they don't mean it and ask me to reach out to the website at enterprise and fill out another form. Save your time and money and rent elsewhere. Even calling the main Enterprise number and complaining and ask for a pick up, they put me on hold to call that local branch and the place closed while I was on that extended hold. So clearly that nasty cultue feeds from the top.
