  ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC SERVICE DEPARTMENT! I called four different locations in a panic. I had my Genesis serviced in Connecticut before starting my drive to Florida, and while passing through New Jersey, my check engine light came on for an open recall that the Connecticut location had supposedly already fixed. I began calling the closest Genesis service departments. The first location never even answered the phone. The second told me it would take 42 hours just to run a diagnostic. The third said they couldn't even run a diagnostic on the vehicle until the middle of the following week. At that point, I was seriously starting to question my decision to buy a Genesis. Finally, I called the Freehold location and spoke with Nick. Before I could even finish explaining my situation and the fact that I absolutely had to be in Florida by the next night, he immediately told me to bring the vehicle in and that they would take care of me. When I arrived, the service department was packed. Honestly, I thought there was no way they would be able to help me that day. I couldn't have been more wrong. Nick greeted me right away, took the vehicle back, and within ONE HOUR, yes, ONE HOUR, I was back on the road headed to Florida. My father has worked in dealerships my entire life, and I have never seen a more efficient, well-oiled service department than Hyundai/Genesis of Freehold. Nick and the entire team were professional, friendly, helpful, and incredibly effective. I practically owe Nick my trip. I cannot thank him and the rest of the service team enough for turning a stressful situation into a seamless experience. They completely restored my confidence in the Genesis brand. If I could give more than five stars, I would.
