If I could rate 0 stars I would. I came with my very visibly pregnant friend 20 min early for an oil change and flat repair and told them we would stay and wait for the car. One hour of waiting and the car hadn’t even be taken into the shop. I asked if I could grab my friends car who was right across the street, they said the mechanic was ON BREAK and had five minutes left on his break. We grabbed my friends car, returned within five minutes and then was told by the mechanic they took another car instead. We ran an errand, returned and was told the tire couldn’t be repaired because it was driven on (although I drove on it only from the parking lot to the side of the road) and that the inside was “probably torn up”. They hadn’t even looked inside the tire. They then told me there was a nail in the other tire that was unrepairable. They wouldn’t take my car off the lift without me demanding for my car back, and told me it was unsafe to drive. Overall they quoted me over $400 for two tires and an oil change, even though the tires were quoted at $115. I ended up taking my car, I went to tire king in Sussex the next day and had both tires patched with no problems! Mavis lied to me and tried to take advantage of me to try and make a sale. At the end of the day my oil change with the least expensive oil they offered me, was $78.
I was there for over three hours in total with my pregnant friend, they tried to scare me into buying new tires that could have been patched, and they did not care. I will never be returning.

Unfortunately, the place is a joke. I don’t normally write reviews either. Every time I used to go here, apparently 10 different things were “wrong with my car”. I used to get routine oil changes here and they would tell me after how things were wrong. After getting a second and THIRD opinion by other mechanics they couldn’t find anything wrong. So unfortunately it seems like they are trying to rob you're money. An oil change here was $100 meanwhile an oil change at my mechanic is $70. Just crazy.. always make sure to get second and third opinions after coming to this place so you don’t go broke.

RIPOFF ALERT: charged over $900 for rear brakes only. Job was first for new brake pads and rotors. 1 caliper was left sticking had to return with left rear brakes overheating was then charged $278 for 1 caliper installed. Should have gone elsewhere.

Mario Scarpone the manager rocks! Without hesitation, he immediately helped me remove my tire when my tire key was misplaced, and was able to order a new tire for me at a reasonable price. He was professional,courteous and went above and beyond

I ordered my tires online from Mavis and arrived about 10 minutes late for my 12:00 PM appointment, but Tom still greeted me warmly right at the door. The service manager, Kaliee, gave my car a very detailed inspection. She professionally pointed out a few things the car needed, which I already knew about, but I really appreciated the honest, professional quote.While waiting, I watched the mechanic meticulously follow all the proper protocols. It was a hot Friday afternoon and I could tell they had just been slammed with work, so maintaining that level of care and effort in the heat was incredibly impressive. The entire experience was top-notch. Thank you all for making this Philadelphian feel so welcome in the area!
